An Auberge gourmande and absolutely charmante!

I appreciated the authenticity of the place, the way I felt welcome. A stay - too short- that will remain in my heart, not for the spa, the tv, the marmor, the splendor that can be topped up anywhere... just the owner, and the way she manages this warm spot. To any traveler: pass your way if you are looking for material luxury, stay if you are looking for wonderful people. Room: simple but extremely clean and convenient, with a large renovated bathroom. As for the diner i had the hance to enjoy there, it is prepared with care and i enjoyed every bit if it ( i do not drink wine so i would not comment on the wine list). Breakfast was splendid with products from the Terroir. Thank you Veronique for making these days so enjoyable!

So good, we are still here! A room in the heart of town right by the beach.

Well, we like it so much we are still here :) We had to add another night. I don't think I've ever had such a well located hotel, it feels like you have a room in a small personal resort, the beach is 2 minutes walk, cafe and restaurants 1 minute walk, grocery and pharmacy 30s walk. We parked just up the road with easypark (get the app, it's actually for real easy to park, about 5 euro for a days parking). The room was very clean and very comfortable (shower, bed, temperature etc.). We ran from here over the cliffs and did a short day trip to the more touristy Etretat (tour groups with in ear guides walking between curio shops believe it or not!) to kayak around the arches which was great, but we were so happy to come back to our home base Yport. Here on a Sunday morning you grab a baguette at the bakery and you head to the beach or hills for a picnic or just swim in the sea.

We didn't use the restaurant as it was a bit expensive (only 3 course meals, but it was usually busy). We also didn't do the breakfast just because we wanted to explore ourselves. We didn't manage to lock our door (one of the rooms), so we gave up and just left it unlocked for the 4 days. It's the only reason this places loses a star, but honestly, it didn't bother us as it actually felt even more like we were locals with a little room by the beach. It's also the room by the stairs where a handful of guests would walk by on their way to bed and there is an automatic light that goes on briefly and shines through the window, this light shouldn't be so bright and point right at the room but it was rarely an issue. There's also a loving breeding pair of doves right outside the window, which is maybe a tiny bit annoying. But still. None of the above should make you not book this amazing place in the amazing town.

The location is perfect!! And bed very comfortable

A bit noisy because our room was right in the entrance, but it was ok. There was a mark of wine glass in the bathroom sink, because it wasn't clean (at least that part), i cleaned it with a wipe so it was easily fixable.

The bed is very comfortable,the room is big, location is great with the restaurant downstair and the beach is very close by also the staff is very nice and friendly they are very helpful and they speak english.

I don't think the room is a no-smoking one, since we smelled something weird since we entered... Or maybe just people didn't respect a no smoking rule. We didn't stay for breakfast, but I find it quite expensive for 9 Euro...

Close to the beach, the supermarket and the bakery. Really delicious breakfast and the plates in the restaurant! Very clean and every day towels were changed and the room was cleaned.

Essen Deluxe Frühstück und Abendessen

Mega Tolles Leckeres Frühstück sehr gute Wurst und Käse Vielfalt, beste Baguette von ganzen Frankreich Urlaub. Abendessen ebenfalls hervorragend umbedingt Halbpension buchen. Vorspeise Hauptspeise und Nachtisch jeweils 4 Gerichte zum wählen gewesen hier sollte für jeden was dabei sein :-) Sehr Freundliche Lustige Gastgeberin . Fahrradunterbringung und Parken kein Problem.

Kleines Bett aber kein Hinderniss :-)

Nous avons regretter de ne pas y avoir manger au dîner on avait réservée ailleurs malheureusement mais nous avons eu la chance de prendre les petits déjeuners et nous avons apprécié toutes les p'tites choses "fait maison" un p'tit déjeuner continental j adore 😍 accompagné d' une ambiance familiale et aux p'tits soins.

Sehr gute Übernachtung mit phantastischem Restaurant.

Wir hatten eine Nacht mit Frühstück u. HP gebucht. Geniales Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit phantastischem 3 Gang Menü. Das Restaurant verdient eine besondere Beachtung. Alles andere war okay. Gute Lage zum Strand aber keine tolle Aussicht und keine dauerhaft guten Aufenthaltsräume.
