Lovely building. Excellent location. Beautiful conservatory. Potentially a first class pub / hotel.
Plastic flowers. (Especially the dreadful plastic ferns at the entrance.) Gaming machine on the right as you walk in. UPF breakfast. Too much signage at the front. Unnecessary banners and parkling deterrents. A simple pub sign would have been sufficient. Creeping technology. (screens for all kinds of this and that) Over-large TV screen in the room (which we didn't watch anyway.) All costing money which could be better spent on items and touches of better quality. The Grove looks good but turned out to be not the kind of place we would have chosen. Certainly not the kind of place we would choose in the future!

Location was great. The room had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. Staff polite on arrival and continued to be through out our short stay. Evening food was very nice as was the breakfast.
Nothing we can fault or didn’t like.
