City Inn

Good location, comfortable beds, staff at breakfast and on the bar were very friendly. Very reasonable price for the area. A bit dated but mostly clean.

Poor soundproofing between rooms - lots of noise from the rooms around/upstairs were noisy until the early hours (not really a fault of the hotel, more of the other guests). Breakfast good but not as nice as it had been on previous stays - felt like it had been microwaved? Older gentleman checking us in was a bit grumpy. No one present at check out - think the same man was in the cluttered staff area - he just grunted for us to leave the keys on the side. Some mould in the bathroom. No parking spaces left on a few occasions.

Great location, plenty of off street parking, dining faculty and a bar were added advantage, good sized beds and other room conveniences (including decaf coffee - which was a thoughtful addition:). Host and staff were very friendly and very responsive. Had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

Perhaps breakfast hours can be extended to 8-10am instead of 8-9am.

Comfy, clean and reasonably priced. Good breakfast.
