Nice hotel but lacking little luxuries for the nightly tariff.

Lovely staff, nice room, spacious. Nice toiletries. I love “This Works”

For the standard of room, we had a Suite, i would have expected water in the room, not an empty bottle for one to go and fill. Mini Bar was not stocked. Bathroom was small and no separate shower. Car park very small. It’s the little extras that matter and at almost 300 for the one nights stay, things could be improved.

Fantastic

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved that it was nice and cool with the option to heat up if needed. Check in was quick and efficient, staff friendly. Bar/breakfast area was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Comfortable stay in a lovely hotel.

Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and characterful. Staff are really friendly and helpful. (It was pouring down and they let me quickly park outside so I could drop my suitcase off before finding an alternative car park). Lovely breakfast. My second stay and I would certainly return.

Lack of parking at the hotel itself. Sadly, you now have to pay an additional charge for certain options at breakfast.

Fantastic staff, gorgeous hotel, excellent location

My son and I stayed for 2 nights. Originally booked twin single beds, which were upgraded on check in to two double beds. The room was massive. The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful. My son was auditioning for a singing competition and she was genuinely interested in what he had to say, and was so friendly and polite. We saw her again the day of the audition and was so excited to hear how it went. We all had a lovely chat and then she offered us two complimentary drinks! Such a kind gesture. We went to the bar and asked for two soft drinks, and were given four! So thoughtful and really made us feel so welcome. The hotel was lovely, our room was massive, it was a great location. Couldn’t fault it. Would definitely stay again.

Personally I found the mattress too soft but that’s just because I like a very firm mattress. But still a very comfortable bed.

Overall an excellent hotel, well situated for the city centre.

First contact with the hotel was good, pleasant staff, the room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast staff and the meal itself exceeded expectations.

The bed appeared to be worn unevenly! Whilst my partner had a good night’s sleep, my side felt like sleeping in a hammock, two different thicknesses of pillow wouldn’t have gone amiss either. And just to be nitpicking, the bottom of the bathroom door was quite chipped-obvious when using the loo!

An excellent place to stay

The location for Aviva Studios was excellent also close to other attractions. Hotel was exceptionally clean throughout. The room was an excellent size and well designed and appointed. The bathroom was also an excellent size. The staff were friendly and helpful. All looked smart and professional. The food both for breakfast and evening meal was very good. The bar offered a very good range of drinks. Thee bar/restaurant was comfortable and well laid out. Extra heating through plug in radiator provided without request to supplement the bulit in heating.

The room was chilly. The heating outlet was near the door and so seemed inefficient to heat the large space of the room. Tgere was no net/foille over the window so the curtains neede to be closed as felt room could be overlooked by new neighbouring bulidings.

The room was very spacious.. we were given a family room with two large double beds for two of us. Deco very contemporary and luxurious.Bedding crisp and fresh. The room had all the extras eg hair dryer, ironing facilities ect. Very comfortable.

Very cosy and homely feel to the hotel.

Great location. Lovely homely feel to the rooms and the corridors. Staff were very welcoming and helped with an early check in because they had rooms ready. Bar was nice and cosy.

Bed was a little unstable but comfortable. Used room service and empty glass bottles left out outside the rooms, in the hallway, all day and night.

Very very good

Great location for a gig next door, which was really handy for us. Nice food and cocktails, very good service. Very large room and nice modern bathroom. Had all the stuff you need to feel relaxed yet connected to the world.

The hotel was spotless, but the bath towels were marked which made us feel a bit icky. We don't think it was anything untoward but it's really important to pay attention to the detail. The lighting in the bedroom was quite hard for putting on makeup but the bathroom lighting was great, I guess that was the intended location for people to use, but as I am not very tall I find it easier when I am not straining to see into a wall mounted pull out mirror.
