Location was great. Rooms are extremely spacious beds are comfortable. There are plenty elevators so I never waited for one. It is right around the corner of the Waterloo station, there is a M&S Foodhall nearby. Price at the time I stayed was pretty competitive with the budget hotels.
Rooms -especially furniture and bathrooms- show their age (although I just found out it was build in 2008). There were rust stains in the bathtub and some stains on the carpet too. If you are like me and love "modern" interiors, this hotel might not be for you.

The location is excellent.
Our room smelt really badly of drains. (Despite being an upgraded room). A very unpleasant smell that got worse if you ran a tap and it was impossible to open a window to get rid of it. We were only there for a few hours so we put up with it but we would not have stayed longer without demanding to be moved.
