The staff are welcoming, beds very comfortable, super power shower and good breakfast - great.
Super location. Harnham is delightful and we enjoy the short walk to the Cathedral. We had a ground floor room overlooking the river, very peaceful. Breakfast good, especially the scrambled egg

Just what we wanted for a couple of days away.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was cooked really good and there was a lot of different things on offer as well. The location was good there was a bus stop right outside which if you got dodgy joints was good.
The room was clean and comfortable, if I was being picky the shower was old along with a curtain and not a glass door.

Convenient to town centre
Rooms dated and looking tired. Bathroom definitely needed updating. Our shower mixer tap was jammed on hot. The hotel was in need of some tlc and definitely not a good image from the front.

Disappointing
The hotel itself was very pleasant and chzrming
We asked reception for extra pillows and were told this would arranged. When we returned from our outing the pillows had not arrived. We tried telephoning reception but the line kept cutting out so I walked to reception to find a sign saying the receptionist was away from their desk and we were given outside number to call. We decided to use the spare blanket in the room as additional pillows but it smelt very musty so was not actually used
