An absolutely stunning location. A short 30-45min walk outside of the city/village. Beautiful setting!
One can only imagine how much money was invested in the property, but the potential of it is not being used. Hiding behind staffing problems, no care is being taken of the gardens, terraces and children’s playground as examples. The restaurant is closed. Breakfast is self-service with the charm of a third class canteen. Offers are just ok - certainly not anything good and price worthy. Rooms are nicely decorated though no fridge, no aircondition and zero chance to get a drink after 5pm (when the reception closes). Some issues with floor ledges, doors etc that would require instant housekeeping attention but little interest was shown when mentioning those. The vending machine in the corridor offers a few sweets. No beer or anything you might long for after a long day on your feet. The complete - very nice - property is managed to press the maximum revenue out with the least imaginable investment. Probably a great place before Coronavirus but now managed in a way to barely survive. Very sad show! It will probably close down soon if things don’t change dramatically. But I sincerely hope things will improve as it is a great place!
