    Had cozy stay in Scandic Continental. As we visited Stockholm in summer which having long sun-light time, the light cannot be covered well by the top of the curtain during our sleep, hope this can improve

    Right at the central and close to old town and the city. Room is clean and spacious.

    How come a hotel room that does not have a fridge?

    We chose this hotel because of the location. Basic amenities were provided but needed to request for disposable slippers & housekeeping, which were fine. So more stars for these. BUT, they do not store your luggage for more than a day if you are going for short trip & then stay again with them. We made a 2d1n trip to Uppsala & Sigtuna and then back to stay at Scandic hotel again. To our great surprise, they refused to keep our luggages despite we expliciltly said that we will not hold them accountable for any loss item/theft. They admandantly refused and said it was their hotel policy. Eventually, we paid Euro200 to store 2 big & 2 cabin luggages at the train station. The fees could have paid for a room's cost! I have been to many other countries & this is the 1st time encountering this. I thought this might be a country specfic rule so we asked Radisson Blu Uppsala; where we stayed for overnight, if they had the same policy and they said no. This is a great piss-off policy despite all the decent services Scandic hotel provided. There are many other hotels nearby the train station so it's not a must to stay at Scandic. Hence, the lesser stars for other categories.
