Ambassador Hotel Eupen

Inchecken verloopt vlot. Grote kamer met voldoende ruimte rond het bed. Ramen die open kunnen. Goede verduistering. Goede matrassen. Nachtlampjes op verschillende sterkte te gebruiken. Veel stopcontacten op de kamer (ook naast het bed). Grote douche. Leuke badkamer met gratis toiletartikelen. Veel opbergruimte (ook met kapstokken). Goed ontbijt. Bushalte vlakbij. Leuk terras met vriendelijke bediening.

Op de kamer ligt tapijt. De ijskast koelt bijna niks. Weinig info te vinden over openingsuren terras en bar. Terras aan het water was niet open. Spijtig.

Fine hotel at a nice location with moderate free parking near. Friendly people. You get everything you can expect. Room was clean. Rooms are a great size, with a desk, a separate table and some extra chairs. Lots of closet space. Breakfast was good (fantastic coffee).

After 4 tries, we got what we booked: A room with 2 single beds and a bath. It smelled funny (like tobacco, not smoke, but fresh tobacco). But my daughter wanted a bath, so we took it. No airco, so it was hot. Breakfast: As said, it was good, but limited. Fine for 2 nights, but a third night, I would have gone out for breakfast the 3rd morning. As good as the coffee was at breakfast, unfortunately that was not the case in the rooms: little sticks of instant coffee. And finally, the last night, when we wanted to try the bath: The mechanical drain didn't work. So the water kept running and we couldn't take the bath, my daughter so desperately wanted to. So: no major flaws. But nothing special either. Therefore: Just 'Good': A nice 7.

Very friendly staff. Spacious room. Good bed. Breakfast buffet. Excellent price/quality!

The location of the place is good. And the breakfast was generous.

We asked for double bed and we got twin bed. We didn't sleep well. It could be the bed or the street noise. The room was an old room, didn't look like at all what I saw in the pictures
