Nothing! One very minor thing - the name of the hotel was not very obvious from the outside. Seeing the outline of a toucan on the outside didn’t give much indication.

i liked the ample parking of the hotel, and how easy and organized was everything. Also the ambiance inside it was so nice, so relaxing in general and the location was superb.

The curtains of my room (411) were not black out. Too much light coming into room from all corners.

A wonderful oasis of calm just off the motorway.

We had travelled from Ireland to Dunkirk on a ferry that arrived at 0100hrs. After driving to Venlo , we arrived hours ahead of normal check- in time. A very kind man at reception facilitated an early check- in. We enjoyed an excellent Sunday breakfast before catching some sleep. A session in the swimming pool helped to refresh us.

New side of hotel is very nicely decorated. Hardly any road noise. The swimming pool and gym are extremely good, very new and clean. Amazing gym with everything you need. Includes sauna, massages.

lovely large room, with amazing bar downstairs and very accomodating staff.

the reception and bar area are newly refurbished and absolutely amazing, the bar was lovely and cozy staying over for the new year. the staff were very helpful in ordering a taxi for me to go to a client site for my work and the bar staff prepared some great food at last orders since we didn’t realise all the restaurants close in Venlo on nye! all in all very accommodating

the wind coming through the air con vent kept us up for quite a while during the night

expensive at over 200€ a night for a couple for room, breakfast and bar snack/sandwich as restaurant closed to guests for a large Christmas party.
