The bed mattresses are too hard and no duvets are given. There is also a damp issue in the basement room which needs to be sorted out.

Amazing Villa

My family and I loved this place so much that we want to go back again. The villa was very clean, spacious, and even had snacks for us. We also took some of the best photos right outside our room. The view was amazing and John was so helpful. He helped us with our luggage because we're a family of 5 and he even showed us around the island. We highly recommend this villa because it's in a great location.

Our host, John, was great, he answered all our questions and was very accommodating.

This location can not be beat. Oia is a beautiful town, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Our stay was during the off season so we had the place to ourselves! It was wonderful!

Everything was great! The one thing that guests might want to know is that the bathroom is a wet bath where the bathroom and shower are all one, it wasn’t a problem though.

Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Santorini

Wonderful host that helped us navigate the island and made our stay feel like home. Cave Agapi is a beautiful property with a great view. It was very clean and the rooms looked great. With the chilly nights in November the hot tub was great to use and fun for the kids. The property was a easy walk to the end of the island. We were able to watch the sunset view from Cave Agapi and didn’t have to worry about a crowd.

For me was the first time in Santorini and I can just say, was more than I expected.Many thanks to Thanos, he is definitely the nicest person I’ve ever met, he was very helpful, a lot of knowledge about the island, great tips and he arranged for us transportation. Cave Agapi was perfect

A perfect location for a stay in Santorini. Just a short walk to the center without the invasion of privacy. The hosts were responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We all agreed we would definitely stay at Cave Agapi if we are lucky enough to return to Santorini

It’s a cave house so the small doorways weren’t the best for my tall husband and not having a regular shower is odd, but like I said the location is superb and we would definitely stay again.

Breath taking view

Thanos was really so helpful with arranging transfers, information about covid testing and even dropping off extra things for the kitchen when we needed it. The house was cleaned every other day as requested which was great. The views from the house are truly spectacular and sitting watching the sunset from the terrace in the evening is one of our highlights.

Exceptional

The location was absolutely beautiful and it was an easy walk to Oia restaurants and shopping. Thanos greeted us and gave us a warm welcome to Santorini and helped to quickly answer any questions we had regarding just about anything. He even helped to arrange our COVID testing before leaving Greece. We had an absolutely wonderful time and this is due in part to our wonderful and kind host Thanos. Thank you and we will highly recommend Cave Agapi!

Would Not Return

Location is just before Oia so was nice and quiet. The villa was very clean.

The bathrooms!! The villa is a traditional cave setting which is great, but the shower was also traditional with just a hanging facet by toliet. Wife hated the shower as everything gets wet and stays wet. Nothing is provided to clean up the water after a shower. The floor becomes very slippery if you need to use toilet after. VERY small sinks as well. No Breakfast included. For the price I feel breakfast should be included like the other hotels do in Santorini. Cleaning is available but was not discussed. You must contact a company to schedule.

Exceptional

The view from the plunge pool is breath taking. The place is a short walk to the centre of Oia but still quiet and very private. The interaction with the owner and his associate was perfect. Jannis gave us a number of tips for restaurants etc, and they were all well worth following. And he carried our heavy suitcase from the parking lot and back (not too far, but very much appreciated)!

The price for staying in a cave is low ceilings. So, if you are tall and don't want to wear a hard hat during your stay, never forget that.

One of the best places I've stayed in. I strongly recommend it.

Cave Agapi is a recently renovated traditional cave house. What impressed me the most is what I enjoyed there during my staying such as the feeling of the comfortable mattress, the smell of the spotless house and the spaces of the place that radiate how well is taken care of. I personally travelled there for business and I was fully satisfied with the speed of the WiFi. On top of that, John Jr, who welcomed me at the place was really friendly, and gave me so many information about the island of Santorini. He was easy to get in touch whenever I needed him. It is important to mention, that on my arrival there were many goods in the cave house for my staying, since most of the places are closed due to the current situation. It was a really nice gesture, thank you very much John Senior and John Jr. I loved Cave Agapi and I strongly recommend it. I will, for sure, come back to stay at your place again.

Lovely place

Great location, walking distance to Oia's main street. Lots of space both indoor and outdoor. Hot tub is fab with a great view! Little kitchen and dining area which was great for breakfast. Short walk from a free parking area that always had lots of spaces while we were there. Not very busy location when we were there but this was October off peak season during Covid!

The only little let down was the mattresses were very hard, so not the most comfortable nights sleep! It's worth noting that the bathrooms are wet rooms and have a sink and toilet and a handheld shower - not a bath or shower fixed to the wall.

Unser Host Thanos war einfach entzückend, zuvorkommend und "auf Augenhöhe". Vollstes Vertrauen, absolute Empfehlung. Thanos hat viel Gespür, worauf es bei einer Tour ankommt, fährt sehr angenehm und seine Empfehlungen waren allesamt perfekt.

Die Terrasse und die Türen sind sehr dem Wetter/Wind ausgesetzt, alles ein wenig verzogen, schlecht schließend, richtig sauber hat das auch nicht gewirkt. Zimmerreinigung wurde angekündigt, kam aber nicht - wäre aber schon notwendig gewesen.

La ubicación, en la mejor zona de la isla, con vistas maravillosas a la caldera y cerca al comercio. Apartamento amplio, fresco, limpio y tiene lo necesario.

Los baños, incómodos, pequeños y como la pared no es enchapada, arroja olor a humedad, que se extiende al apartamento cuando está cerrado. El tamaño no importaría tanto, sin embago, seria importante enchaparlo totalmente.
