    I felt like I was deceived by Agoda with this listing. Pls read the reviews because Im not alone. This is first time Im leaving a review because I dont want the experience happening to others. When I did my research comparing this with what shows up in Google - Google will show you the Hotel Rossli in Interlaken. When we got in late at night in Interlaken, we were turned away and told this was in a different location at Oberied Brienz. We panicked for awhile and had to get a cab to get there. This place is 17 mins away with a train that comes only every hour so be warned. While its still a reasonable place to stay it, it will gnaw at you that this was not the place u planned your whole trip around. Also, this is more a B&B than a hotel. It was saved by the hospitable and warm staff. Good place if youre balling. Leaving this review because I felt I was duped by Agoda

    *** Please indicate Lakeview room (limited room) What started as a complete mix-up over the name “Rössli” turned into one of the rarest little gems we’ve discovered in Switzerland. We had actually booked the wrong Rössli by accident 😅 A little confused, going back and forth like headless chickens… only to arrive at this quiet lakeside village in Oberried am Brienzersee. And somehow, it felt like fate. 🏡 A Swiss cottage-style stay with simple, honest charm 🌿 simple budget renovations that seem like a budget motel 🏔️ Mountains standing quietly around Lake Brienz 💙 The kind of peace you cannot design artificially 🍽️ Real food, real hospitality, real Switzerland At Hotel Rössli @ Station Oberried, run with heartfelt care by Theres Boccardi, nothing feels commercial or trained hospitality. It feels lived in and Human. This is not the kind of hotel you book because it is famous. It is the kind you remember because it made you feel life is simple and carefree. Perhaps the most beautiful travel moments are not the ones perfectly planned… but the ones that accidentally lead us somewhere our hearts needed to be. 📍 From Oberried station, Turn left (facing the lake) follow the main road (Hauptstrasse) for 3–5 minutes. Up the left lane. U will see Restaurant &Hotel Rossi ✨ A booking mistake… that became a rare Swiss dream we never expected to find.

    We had a big trouble finding this hotel on the check in day because this place advertised on Agoda as Interlaken but it’s not.Its in Oberried which is 3 stops away.There is another Rossli in Interlake which has a similar building and same name and their staff said we have this ongoing issue. As a tourist please make sure .Google map will only take you to the interlaken Rossli. Rooms were okay and bathroom has some weird stink. People on the upper floor if they walk we can here at night and it was a big problem sleeping. Also they serve breakfast from 8am which doesn’t work because most tourist will likely leave early.. The nearest train stop has a train frequency every one hour so if you relying on train then take that into consideration.
