The hotel is in good condition with comfy clean rooms and excellent car parking.
The hotel staff are great except the restaurant staff where there are some real training issues at breakfast and lunchtime.
We turned up for breakfast at 10.20 on the Saturday when breakfast was until 10.30 and there were no clean tables and the empty tables were piled with dirty plates. Chaos. Run out of croissants. Went to get an extra cuppa at 10.50 to be told drinks were chargeable after 10.30am!!!
Manager gave me a cuppa after I highlighted this was somewhat ridiculous but left a bad taste metaphorically!!
Then lunch the next day and day after was chaos lots of staff but not knowing what to do and very inexperienced and slow. Food not great taste and overcooked/poor. Roast lamb was like carpet!!
