Olympic Hostel - Old Town

I like it because is very clean and the position is very good

Clean and neat room with complete amenities (including towel). Huge kitchen with free coffee & tea anytime you want. You can even cook your food or reheat to their microwave. Staffs were very helpful and kind. The location is 30 minutes walk from the main attraction but it’s okay as there’s plenty of great views while walking. It’s also a 10 - 15 minute walk from the train station.

First, the staff. Especially Ms Natalia who was very nice and helpful. Second, the location. I went to Gdansk for an event that was easily reached by tram from the Plac Solidarności tram stop. I arrived by train, and the Gdansk Main Station is 10 minutes by foot from there.

It was pretty cold in the room and the radiators could not be turned on. The curtain on the window was broken, but it is just a minor inconvenience. The smell from the toilet was pretty annoying, but that's the way it is in old tenement houses in Poland.

The staff is available .

But I didn't stay here because of a noise! The tram passes under the windows and everytime it passes, the building moves just like in an earthquake! Also everytime somebody passes outside the room the floor moves. Besides, there are no dark curtains...considering the "white" Baltic nights...it is not comfortable. And they didn't give me the money back even if I left the first day....
