Le Terrazze di katia apartment

We had a wonderful stay in Casa delle Terrazze in Riomaggiore! Colette wecomed us and everything was smooth and easy! She communicated with us through whatsapp and was very helpful and responsive. She came to fetch us at the entrance of the village and showed us the way to the parking place which was very convenient. The house is super clean and welcoming. It was perfect for our family of 5. The view on the hills and the sea is very nice. The Wifi is excellent. The house is on the higher extremity of the village but the elevator from the train station was a big help, and we managed nicely to go back home at the end of the day. And of course Cinque Terre is fantastic!! We were happy to be in Riomaggiore at the first village. From there it was easier to visit the other villages by train.

The kitchen is not very well equipped. But we managed nicely to prepare meals eventhough. For example we could have enjoyed a salad spinner. And a second towel in the kitchen. There was a microwave-grill-oven, but not a proper oven. There were just enough glasses and plate for 6.

Property was clean and spacious! Host was very responsive and met us to hand over keys and provide information. Host also helped book a cab to bring bags up the hill. Very quiet spot on the hill, it was great to wake up to the sound of chirping birds!!

The posting did not make it clear that the property was up a steep hill! If we could not have had cab service to bring bags up and down to the train station it would have been a huge problem! Thankfully the cab was available and it worked out. It would be better if listing makes it clear how much folks would have to walk uphill to reach property.

Fabulous location, roomy, beautiful home. Very clean. Host was very accommodating and answered all our questions.
