it was nice and relaxing, and there was a lot to do there and we just liked the environment for a weekend getaway from everyone and everything except for the two of us. We ate in the thirsty pony as well, and the food was really good.
The check-in process definitely needs improved and I actually had to go next-door to the Holiday Inn to get ice because I couldn’t get a hold of anybody to tell me if or where there was ice in cedar stable.

We loved our stay here, it was so convenient and so many things to do right in the facility and didnt have to go anywhere! Oh also, free bowling during our entire stay, along with a complimentary bottle of wine and 4 bears chilled in the fridge at no extra cost! Was spectacular!
My only gripe would be to take down the Sliding Barn Doors and put up a standard stall door for the bathroom. Privacy is an issue with those, just not very private! Thats it! Love it!

Nothing really
It smelled room wasn’t ready upon arrival

The bathroom could have been more clean. Some repairs needed.

The room is esthetically pleasing if you dont look too closely. The mattress was very nice and the shower had good pressure
The tone for our stay just wasn't set right from the beginning. Check in wasnt the easiest process. Then, when we got to the room, the owners were in there supposedly installing light under the bed so i was shocked to see an adult toy had been left behind and they either didnt notice or it belonged to them. It looked dusty, so in my opinion, that indicates it had been there awhile. Thus, cleaning is clearly sub-par. After a little inspecting, I found that to be true. The walls are extremely thin. Our neighbors who checked in were a WILD bunch. Arguing throughout all night long. We didn't even stay our entire booking. I was just so creeped out.

The room was cutely setup.
The checkin- no signs on where to check in at a busy restaurant. Room was right at the parking lot and could hear everything in the AM.

I liked the short drive to Cedar point, and the fact that it was connected to a restaurant and entertainment. It was also close to Kroger and other nice restaurants. We ate at Marcos Pizza and it was delicious.
The room was clean and the staff were friendly but the bathroom wasn’t as pretty as the rest of the room. It had a microwave and a refrigerator. It also had a desk, but a small kitchen table would have been nice too. The parking lot had some “ hangout “ in the evening that was loud at times.

The bed was very comfortable, pillows were amazing! Food down at the thirsty pony was delicious.
We had to wait 20 mins at the desk inside the thirsty pony to get checked in. I asked several times for help and they kept saying someone was coming. Ridiculous. The shower handle broke off in my hand and this was a “newly remodeled” bathroom I was told. Our tv would not work. I called night 1 and it was debacle with maintenance to get it to work. Next morning it stopped working again. I asked for maintenance to fix it while we were out all day….dame back 10 hrs later to a tv that would not work. They didn’t even attempt to fix it. At 9pm the 2nd night had 3 maintenance and the manager trying to fix it. We asked to be refunded a night so we could leave but since I booked with booking.com they could not. Lesson learned! Book directly with the hotel and if the check in counter is in a bar be prepared they run the hotel portion like a bar too. I advise that you stick with larger chain hotels to avoid issues like these.

It was in close proximity to a lot of things that we wanted to do
The room itself was good but the bathroom needs major work. When we got there the toilet handle was broken. They fixed the handle but then noticed it leaked underneath the toilet when you would flush it. The whole bathroom needs work. Also they need some seating in the room besides just a bed and bench

The hotel was surprising in the actvities it offers. Several bars, a bowling alley, paramutual betting on horseraces, a great restaraunt, which was packed.
It appeared to be short-staffed, with several employees working several positions. It took 20 minutes to check in because the desk clerk also doubled as one of the bartenders. The restaraunt had great food, yet it didn't offer breakfast.

The room was just as the pictures showed. It was clean, quaint, and comfortable. There were many nice surprises to our stay- free bowling at their bowling alley (nice lanes ), complimentary bottle of local wine and flight of local beers. The property associated with the Thirsty Pony so you don’t have to walk far to eat (their food is good).

Nice rooms that were uniquely decorated and clean. What I liked most was the free things they threw in like bowling passes, wine, chocolate and beer. Fun place to stay with food and entertainment for the kids on site. Will definitely be staying here again!

Location, decor, fireplace
No hot water & tv didn’t work.
Maintenance never came.
Hotel offered 25% discount & said to contact booking.com. That is not a fair discount for having to take cold showers.
Loose boards on the wall above bed & covering on the door lock kept falling off.

The suite I requested for was not given. I paid $785 for 3 night with my kids and hubby and we were given 1 room with 2 small beds. Booking.com promised to refund some amount but am yet to get it.
if we were put in the suite rooms we requested and paid for.

Our linens were not clean. We didn't stay as changing the bloody bed covers wasn't offered. We are still waiting for booking.com and cedar stables to resolve the situation

the style, staff, and complimentary wine and beer.
nothing

The interesting decor is attractive, the welcome is enhanced by a gift of wine and beer in the room on arrival.
The room decor's paneling and fabulous lighting including an electric glowing fireplace is great, however the bathroom is especially old and dilapidated which takes something away from the overall experience.
