Clean, quiet, friendly

First thing we noticed was how clean it was. Friendly staff. Actually the best place we've been to the entire time we were out.

Tub and carpet looked old. The carpet was clean but needed replaced and the tub needed recalled. But that's incidental. The cleanliness is and was, and should be paramount.

Bathroom needed updates. Shower head was so small and there was no pressure, couldn’t even was shampoo out of hair. Toilet was loose and rocked back and forth. Ceiling and top of walls were dirty and needed painted. Very loud and could hear people in next room sneeze and have entire conversation. People outside all times of the night loud talking by rooms.

The staff handling breakfast in the morning (a lady) was fantastic and friendly! She's been there a few times that we have stayed and is so welcoming and helps us if we ask questions. I appreciate the friendly welcome!

The room next to us was blaring their TV all night and music all day - the walls were very thin so it was very disruptive.

The staff here is so kind and helpful. They seem to genuinely care about guests all across the board. the complimentary breakfast and evening snacks were great and the pool is really nice and fun. The room was very clean and comfortable. Honestly a great spot for a great value will use this property next visit for sure!

The only negative I see to mention is the amount of partying which you will always have in a budget motel but there were times we couldn’t even open the door due to The marijuana smell So strong.

Close to Cedar Point and everything else. The handicap room was big. My suggestion is to make the room brighter by installing brighter lights.

The dumpster was close to the pool area, you can smell the garbage when you are walking and in the vicinity of the pool. The handicap room was spacious but dark, it will brighten the room with better, brighter lighting

Very convenient and friendly.

First and foremost there is not one bad thing to say about this business. I will start with the staff the staff were amazing to us very nice and helpful even when I had to get my key card re programmed a million times because I kept putting it by my phone. Second the facility is amazing and so are the rooms very clean and equipped with everything you need.very kid friendly for a 2 hour window they have cookies and milk and popcorn which was delicious.the breakfast is amazing as well a good variety to offer.the pool is great and so are their hours of operation my family loved it here and when we come back we will be staying here again. Nice pictures on the walls of cedar point Saturdayt. Close to cedar point 4 minutes very convenient you don’t want to stay at cedar point and went to take a break this is the place to choose to stay. I loved this place.

A kids/teenagers favourite8

It is a kid/teens dream! Started on arrival with fresh bake cookies (3 varieties-double chocolate was biggest hit), drinks, and popcorn. Then there is the outdoor pool open till 11pm. Breakfast had fruit loops, raisin bran cereal, Trix yogurt, packaged waffles, and the coolest machine that makes pancakes! They also have muffins (yep...double chocolate was one type), coffee, teas, juices, and milk. Bagels with cream cheese or jam as well. It's literally down the road from Cedar Point. Our kids insist we book here every time we come to Cedar Point! Our room had newer flooring, too. 1st floor is best as easier to unload...we were on 2nd floor last year and no elevator that we saw... so much easier this year with a 1st floor room. Staff very friendly and accommodating, too. Will be back!

Family Fun Weekend

The staff were so friendly. The pool was beautiful and clean. They offered Soda Popcorn- n Cookies and Milk every night.

You can tell it was an older property so I can't ding them for much. If they happen to get a renovation for the bathrooms that would definitely put this property at 3stars instead of 2.

She thought the pool was decent.

There was a musty moldy smell right when we walk in the door. The smell gave my daughter a headache. Everything in that room stunk, the bedding, the curtains, everything. The table wobbled. The floors appeared to have not been mopped because when we went to step on the bath mat towel our feet prints we're left on the towel before we even got into the shower. I had a half a bag of ice. I put it in the freezer and it melted. So therefore I had to wipe up all that water from in front of the Refrigerator and that towel was so dirty from wiping up the floor and the fridge out.

Room reeked of smoke

It was convenient location.

Our room was a “non smoking” room but it smelt of cigarette smoke so bad that we left the hotel smelling like smoke. We were there for less than 12 hours and everything we had in that room reeked of smoke so bad. I’m assuming the room beside us or below us was smoking. I felt terrible because my kids were breathing that in as well. Terrible experience.
