Good location. Low rate motel

Location to Cedar Point

Would never stay here again. Door still had a crack in it when fully closed. Bathroom was small and door closed with a millimeter of clearance space of the toilet.

Wish the room was a queen bed not a full bed. Plenty of room to put a queen bed in there. Free breakfast should include eggs, breakfast meats.

This was one of the most unhygienic and poorly maintained hotel stays I’ve ever experienced.

They had running water.

would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The condition of the room was unacceptable. It smelled strongly of wet dog upon arrival, which made it hard to relax or feel clean. The window screens had large rips, so we couldn’t get fresh air without inviting bugs in. Speaking of bugs—there were actual bugs on the linens, which is beyond disturbing. To make matters worse, the door didn’t shut properly, leaving a gap that made it easy for insects to enter. This stay felt more like camping in a neglected cabin than a hotel experience. The pictures are NOTHING like the room we reserved. Extremely disappointed.

Great nights sleep at the Cove

The staff were friendly and accommodating and directed us to our upstairs room on the back of the inn. Breakfast was a decent selection of pastries, bananas, apples, cereal etc. Our room was quiet, we didn't hear anything after we got to our room late.

The door had one lock and did not seem super secure. Traveling with my 10 year old daughter and being female, I felt a little unsafe. It was probably just in my head since I'm accustomed to hotels with interior entrance doors but the weekend we stayed at Cedar Point our last minute trip could not locate availability in our usual accommodations. As advertised the beds were double and not queen like most hotels I usually book. They were comfortable and the linens were decent. Water pressure was lacking but the soap and shampoo provided was decent. The room temp was cool and refreshing after a blistering day at Cedar Point.

For a weekend getaway to cedar point overall was good stay. Location was great. Cedar point is right across the street

It had a room available during Ironman weekend. The staff was friendly.

The price was WAY too high. Everyone in town clearly raised their prices to take advantage of all of the out of towners for Ironman weekend. Very old and run down property reminiscent of a side of the freeway in the middle of nowhere Motel.

They lost our reservation and had to put us in a bad area of the hotel . There was no parking where our room was. Also. TV didn’t work and no ice bucket. I booked the room months in advance . Very disappointed .

Room heater did not work properly. Advertised free breakfast was not available. Bed was uncomfortable and did not have a blanket. The shower was at best luke warm. The entire place seemed to be under construction with not good lighting or facilities maintenance.

The location. Very close to Cedar Point and Nickle Plate Beach. Bathrooms are updated. The lady at the desk was very friendly. We did get fresh towels daily.

Carpet in the rooms = filthy. Not even joking. I gave my baby a bath and a few steps later her feet were black. Headboards were dirty, window seals, the phone was dirty. I booked 2 rooms. My nephew and his wife, their room, the AC barely worked. It was rough. The pool was down for half our trip. Walkways are even dirty. Then to make matters worse… after we checked out and hit the road… my card was charged an additional $30. For… get this… dirty sheets! I called and they reversed the charge.

I loved the convenience of the location to the convention I was going to.

I did not like that they wouldn't let us change our room when I asked because i had already checked in. The air conditioner was broken, the room was small, and I had to travel downstairs to find a working ice machine. The pool was way smaller than the photos.

Train noise every hour , kids from other guesses after midnight running past window and yelling ,the bath had mold and shower curtain and rod was a mess . Breakfast was nice, but the appliances were very slow for the number of guests

Good location to Cedar Point. Enjoyed the bottles of water during check in. The restaurant across the street called The Thirsty Pony was great. We enjoyed the room that had three beds. We would stay again.

We didn’t like that we were told that the pool was closed for maintenance. Then we saw people swimming. Went to the front desk to confirm about the pool she didn’t know want to say. She said she will ask about the pool.

Quiet and peaceful, I’d say better than most hotels I’ve stayed in

I personally really likes how spacious the room was, and how clean it was. The staff was super nice and had excellent service, everything I needed was nearby with a dollar general right down the street and fast food around the corner!
