Lovely!

The suite was like a home away from home. We found everything that we needed.

Ceiling height was quite low in spots but the charm of the suite made up for it.

Great for a mini break

Great location, lovely development of docks area and perfect for the Christmas market that is on weekends in Nov/Dec. The car parking is a great bonus. Good instructions for arrival tho possibly a photo of the carpark entrance could help reassure the driver they're in the right alleyway 🤓 Quirky accommodation, nicely done. Clean and welcoming, appreciated the provision of hand wash, washing up bits and kitchen roll. Plenty of towels and good bedding. Main room bed was v comfy. The Christmas tree and bit of decoration was a really nice touch and (with family and background in Glos) the book about Gloucester was very interesting for us. Area around the docks was very clean and quiet on a night.

There was nothing we didn't like, but some observations/suggestions: The sloping ceilings were expected and fine for 3 days, probably most inconvenient in bathroom. Could have done with a long/bigger mirror in main room - the little mirror by the bed was convenient for a socket (hairdryer etc) but not a great mirror. Similarly, mirror in bathroom was not great and there's nowhere convenient to put toiletries, make up, contact lens stuff etc The seat of the extra chair in the main room felt a bit like it might give way and so we didn't use it. (I'm 9st :-))

Low ceilings were known, but more of an issue than expected. I think the description of "two seperate bedrooms" is misleading as the second bedroom is separated from the lounge by a curtain.

Excellent

The location was excellent. The only downside to the apartment was that I occassionally bumped my head and I am only 5'3". I'm glad I am not 6'. I loved that it was quirky, well thought out and an added bonus was there was tea, coffee and some toiletries. I would recommend to friends if they werent too tall.

Just perfect!

This apartment has the wow factor! Absolutely stunning, and the best night's sleep we've had in a long time. I don't know what mattress you have on the bed, but it was perfect. I have a neurological disorder, and I have never been so comfortable.

There was nothing to dislike. Secure parking, the most tastefully renovated building, and a beautiful location. I cannot thank the apartment owner enough for the care and attention to detail.

Couldnt fault the aparrtment

the location and shops

The drop off point outside the property was only 20 minutes the weather was horendoes and by the time we found the apartment and managed to take the cases to the top floor we had run over the time allotted. Unfortunetly we were issued with a £50 parking penalty which we paid. This put a bit of a damper to our New year celebration and we think the council should give 45 mins.

Apartment secure in secure building with secure car parking. Apartment quiet, clean, comfortable with all necessities included. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk and various toiletries supplied which is a nice touch. Very enjoyable stay in a great location.

Perfect location. At the Gloucester Docks, with town centre, Gloucester Quays, and public transport at a few minutes walking distance.

Sleeping facility. And you really have to mind your head.

January weekend break.

Location. Plenty of hot water for shower. Everything provided that we needed.

Couldn't work out how to get electric heaters to warm up. Didn't look as if they had been programmed to come on ? Meant bedroom smelt a bit damp at first until aired by opening windows. Eventually managed to get one heater in hallway on manual mode. Perhaps some extra instructions would help ? Wouldn't put us off staying again though.

Fabulous

The apartment was great and in a fab location. Handy secure parking.Nice to have tea and coffee already there, although we brought our own. Also nice there were loo rolls, and washing lotions etc .Comfortable and clean .

We needed to use heating on 2nd night and it was complicated to get it working. Did contact owner by text who made some suggestions, however luckily one of us worked out how to get it on eventually. Would be helpful to have detailed instructions as the info in folder didn't explain about setting timers etc .

Remote for Tele not really working. Skylight blind in kitchen faulty. One of the heaters in living room not working. ( I mention these only to be constructive. )

Great location and it was lovely and clean but not without issues.

Location was excellent and in easy reach of all facilities. Apartment is very clean and tidy. Room has lots of character with the beams in place but just be mindful that the ceilings are low in places. Hot water is practically instant so giving a good shower. Car parking is excellent and very secure and just a minutes walk from apartment.

The shower in the bath has a low beam so for anyone 6ft 2 or above (like me) it is very awkward to get in and out of. The apartment is in the roof area so naturally it is awkward in general for anyone tall. The oven, why does it display in a language other than English, made it practically impossible to use and only managed it through pure guess work. Radiator in the lounge area (near bed) wouldn't stay switched on, everytime I pressed it on it switched off again ?. Mattresses way too soft, managed to get comfortable but others may struggle with them.
