Teli Guest House

We were the only guests in this small guesthouse, run by an elderly couple in their own house. We could choose the room we liked the most and Lia and her husband made us feel right at home, almost like we were their own personal guests.

Air-conditioning not working in the room

The hosts were extremely nice and flexible. We even got an unexpected free breakfast from the kind lady and had the best local experience in our 10 days stay in Georgia.

Everything was great for our one night stay

Comfortable accommodation. Very hospitable hosts. Great places to relax in the yard and in the house.

It was in a quite area and the garden was nice. I was able to park on the street near entrance. Women was nice and offered me some food and fruits.

Location is completely wrong on booking. You can find actual location by hotel name on Google maps. So it wasn't in city center like I expected. Looks like they weren't really expecting me, I was given a room which is nothing like on description, didn't have balcony or view and wasn't prepared for me(there was someone's clothes and other things and they didn't bother to take them away). It wasn't very clean also. Then in a few days I was moved in to another room (which by itself is annoying but ok, things happen) which was actually worse. Also I didn't like how kitchen was equipped but that is not very important. Over all it's not that a bad place but that defenarely was not what I was paying for. They also insisted on a good review or no review at all which also was very annoying. I wouldn't like someone asking to give them 10 points even if place is perfect, if I liked it I would anyway. But asking if I give 10 points and waiting for the answer is actually quite rude if you ask me. After all of that owner mentioned that they have a good rooms upstairs and I can take it next time. I guess one of those I booked initially but wasn't lucky to get them this time. Oh well.
