It was in a very central location, a few mins from the shops and port with restaurants, and less than 5 mins from the main big beach. It’s around 30 mins to the trails into the Calanques. Jean-Luc was a lovely host, v communicative with good advice of things to do - very accommodating. The apartment was great - well-quipped and spacious. Beautiful view from the terrace!

Appartamento in posizione perfetta, vicinissimo a tutto e arredato con grande gusto. È dotato di ogni comfort, con una splendida doppia esposizione che lo rende molto luminoso e una terrazza meravigliosa con vista sul castello e su Cap Canaille, perfetta per fare colazione o cenare all’aperto. L’accoglienza di Jean-Luc è stata eccezionale: disponibile, cordiale e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito i benvenuti.

Sinceramente nulla, è stato tutto perfetto. Se proprio dovessi dare un piccolo suggerimento per rendere il soggiorno ancora più speciale, nel caso in cui si scelga il noleggio della biancheria sarebbe una piacevole coccola trovare i letti già preparati all’arrivo. Si tratta comunque di un dettaglio, perché l’esperienza è stata impeccabile.

The apartment interior has been completely updated. New kitchen cabinets and appliances. New flooring and a new patio door. So it really has a new, clean look. The property manager was very helpful and answered our questions quickly. He even helped drag our bags up the stairs. The location was great. And free parking this close to city center.

This is a fourth floor walkup, so a lot of stairs with heavy bags. The building was not well maintained and was a bit time worn. The back and front entrances could use more frequent cleanup.

The apartment is very good - located just in the centre of Cassis, close to all the restaurants, shops, bars and other attraction. The walk to the closest beach is less then 5 minutes, and to Le Bestouan beach - around 10-15 minutes. The apartment has everything you need, has a very nice terrace, all the amenities inside, good WIFI, air-conditioning which is critical as it is extremely hot in Cassis during summer. The only thing you need to make sure that you order sheets and towels in advance, as there is an extra cost for this.

The experience with the host was not great. The arrival time was not agreed beforehand (it was mentioned by a host that check-in is possible as of 17.00 but specific time of arrival was not requested). In the end we had to wait for 30 minutes to check-in. The worst part of our stay was the check-out, when we agreed with the host for the check-out time at 9.00 and the host did not arrive and was not available on the phone calls, even after we reached out to Booking Customer support. We had to wait for 1,5 hours (even after the official check-out time) before we could leave the apartment and in the end we spent several hours in traffic because of the late check out. Make sure you align and check with the host the arrival and departure times in advance to make sure your experience is good.
