Location and comfortable
Shower not draining quickly enough caused flooding inside and outside apartment.

Very central location, nice terrace with space for table and chairs, gets the afternoon/evening sun. Pretty well equipped kitchenette with a mocha pot for good strong coffee!
There is noise from the street outside which is expected being in the old town so if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs

The location was excellent.
The beds were rather uncomfortable. We had 2 towels (1 x face; 1 x bath) each but there was no hand towel in the bathroom or in the kitchen. There is a door to the toilet but no door separating the bathroom from the rest of the apartment and the noise of the extractor fan, especially at night was irritating.

Great location. Just in the centre of Funchal. The large balcony with table and chairs were great for breakfast and late supper. Host was very welcoming and communication with Sophie was amazing. She was very helpful.
Some curtain or something covering bathroom would be nice to offer some privacy in the bathroom. Also some at leat small shelf there would be useful as well.
