The pool was definitely the highlight. The location is excellent. Air conditioning and the option to use a washer/dryer were fantastic. The kitchen is great for those looking for self catering. Late check in was kindly accommodated which was really appreciated and some lovely welcome gifts upon arrival.

The bed is horrific. We didn't have a restful night's sleep for the entire week. It really let's the whole apartment down. A small bit more attention to detail would make the apartment a 10/10 stay. The hand wash and shower gel dispensers were empty on arrival. We asked the host for a replacement but never got it so we just bought our own. The WiFi did not work the whole time we were there and our own mobile data would not work so we couldn't access the Smart TV either or use our phones until we left the building. The cleanliness isn't fully there. Previous guests had left breakfast food rubbish in the cupboard in a takeaway box and we have no idea how long it was there. Some old lettuce food waste stuck to the bedroom floor. A lot of dust in drawers and in the bathroom. Considering it is a 10am checkout, there should be ample time for proper cleaning and an overall check of cleanliness. The shower door leaked every time we took a shower and the floor was soaking. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Apartment on the first floor was awfully noisy and balcony view is just facing onto another building. Overall not good value for money but replacing the bed alone and fixing the WiFi would ensure a return visit.

Iso peili puuttui ,kokovartalopeili. Ruokapöydän päältä puuttui lamppu. Pyyhekoukut puuttuivat kuin myös eteisestä takkien ripustuskoukut. Henkareita liian vähän.

Location is amazing and the best for visits to Funchal and Madeira. The building and apartment were spotlessly clean The apartment was very well equipped with everything needed for a short or long stay Instructions on how to access the unit and the greeting by staff was first rate

1) The lack of a couch for relaxing. Only option for relaxing were two chairs not suited to relax for any extended period of time? 2) The quality of the bed, the right side has a noticeable sag. 3) Extremely bright blinking night light in the main room/bedroom. Made sleeping or relaxing a challenge! 4) The lack of choice in the comfort of the pillows provided, although the apartment did come with 4 pillows they were all the same type and shape and in our opinion were too overstuffed. For better comfort we suggest that a thin pillow and a thicker pillow be on offer! Unfortunately we were not able to achieve a good nights sleep for any of the 6 we were in the apartment and looked forward to leaving for that reason.
