Personalised service in small family run hotel

Very relaxed and comfortable set up, clean and welcoming. A home from home. Milan, the hotel owner and his family live in the property and are always on hand to go over and above any expectations. The drinks provided were available on an honour system, writing down what you helped yourself to, forming the bill at the end of the stay.

The curtains in the room were for privacy rather than blocking light, so we woke up much earlier than we wanted to. But it was a gorgeous day and we were off early for hiking. ☺️ The card reader for payment is temperamental. Best to have cash ready!

Best Guesthouse in Bosnia

I stayed here for 4 nights and had the most wonderful time. Milan is truly an exceptional host, he’s warm, friendly, full of helpful tips, and always ready to assist with anything you need. I honestly can’t thank him enough… he made my stay feel extra special. The guesthouse itself is spotless and cozy, with drinks and breakfast available. Plus, there are three restaurants just a short walk away, which made everything super convenient.

We had a wonderful time thanks to Milan and his family

The rooms are simple and clean, you have everything you need for a comfy stay. The location is great, restaurants are nearby and you can plan all types of daytrips. The breakfast is great (lots of veggie options) and the best part is the hospitality of Milan and his family. We came relatively unprepared and Milan gave us great advice to make the most of our stay.

Kind hosts, great location

Milan and his family are kind and welcoming, willing to help with anything. The Villas are located on the main road, easy to access by bus if you’re not driving and close to all the main attractions in Tjentište. Everything was clean and comfortable!

Nice location for hiking in Sutjeska national park, good restaurant right opposite, good little breakfast (great scrambled eggs!), good WiFi, Milan (the host) will give you a lot of information about Sutjeska national park and recommendations about where to go, fridge with drinks next to the reception available all night, swimming pool in the garden!

Located directly next to the main road (pretty noisy if you're looking for peace and silence), no TV in the room (although on the pictures shown on booking.com there is a TV in the room), double-bed consosting out of two small single mattresses instead of one in queen- or kingsize, not 100% clean...

Great value for money, we recommend

The manager Milan is a great guy. He understands what hospitality is. He makes fantastic cappuccino's. You can ask him anything. The accommodation is nothing fancy, but clean and the beds are comfortable. The swimmingpool is a big bonus. We loved the beautiful surroundings. You can eat a very good meal at the restaurant next door. We can recommend Green Villas!

The curtains let light through, so the morning sun will wake you up very early. Otherwise the rooster will or the barking dogs. But I guess it comes with the surroundings. We didn't mind it to much.

Milan is really the best host you can wish for! The location is great, the bed was really comfortable! Highly recommended, loved to stay here.

Milan embodies the Bosnian hospitality

Milan! What a great guy, he runs the place with his mom and girlfriend, he welcomed me and during my stay, he is so great, funny and sociable, he makes your time in Tjentište so nice and he really loves doing this and meeting and connecting with people, you feel his Bosnian hospitality from the first second you arrive. He knows all the activities and tours, so if there’s something you like to do, he can help you out. Flexible check in and flexible checkout. Another important and good thing, Milan's place is the only one in Tjentište where you can pay with debit (Maestro) or credit (Visa/MasterCard). Lots of parking space A pool for those who hiked after a long warm day It’s close to the parks @Milan: keep doing this with your heart, love, passions and smiles - See you soon bro! :)))

Lovely stay in Tjentiste

We stayed in a nice one-bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the mountains. There was also a communal lounge at the bottom of the building, a pool and a table tennis table, but we did not use these facilities. We appreciated the little touches like chocolates and fruit in the apartment. We were generally quite comfortable here (aside from the kitchen, see below) as we prepared for hikes in the Sutjeska national park. Milan was a very friendly, welcoming, warm and all-round lovely host who was always happy to impart his voluminous knowledge of the area and help with anything that we might have needed. There are a couple of local restaurants close to the apartment, but apart from that you will need to bring food with you from a nearby town (We didn't have the breakfast that came free with our stay, so we cannot comment on it.)

The kitchen was unfortunately not well-equipped (it lacked crockery, a kettle and basics like tea, oil etc) and the stovetop did not work at all. I believe there was also a kitchen in the main building, but we were a little surprised that our kitchen wasn't really functioning that well.

Wonderful place

Great location, just next to the entrance of the national park and breathtaking hikes. The room was clean, quite and comfortable. The host, Milan, is amazing, welcoming and helpful. Next to the property is a tavern with very nice food. Coming again the next year!

Location is great, near all hiking routes and with a few restaurants within 50m radius. Our host Milan has helped us a lot with local tips, arranging hiking routes and so on... also the pool is a nice addition. I would highly recommend this place :)

Perfect location with a great host!

The Host was super friendly and welcoming, got us right into our rooms and offered welcome drinks. There are a few restaurants next door perfect for after hike food & drinks, very close to the national park.

The rooms do not have AC which was not needed for my stay but something to keep in mind.

What a great and friendly owner! He offered us a welcoming drink and he spoke about the local national park and recommended to visit Sarajevo (which we did). The rooms were cozy. There is a good restaurant just 30m from the property.

De kille inrichting van de kleine kamer. De dozen en andere bezittingen van de eigenaar bij de entree. De accommodatie komt meer overeen met een kamer in het huis van de eigenaar en heeft niets weg van een "green villa". Geen koelkast, waterkoker of glazen in de kamer. Ben je op zoek naar een zeer eenvoudige kamer dan ben je hier aan het juiste adres.
