Excellent location on the lake, a spacious apartment with full amenities, and a warm, helpful host

The location is perfect, close to the lake, and the response and communication were very quick from the moment of booking.

We stayed on September 30th, which was the last day of the season. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very windy day. After a boat trip on the lake, we arrived at the apartment and it was quite cold. There was no heating, and the hot water ran out before everyone could shower. It is true that the host kindly brought us a kettle-like heater, but there was only one. As a result, we all had to sleep together in one room in order to have heating. In the end, my son had to shower with lukewarm water. It’s a pity that we didn’t know in advance about the limitation regarding the amount of hot water, as we would have been more careful.

The apartment was beautiful with a fabulous view from the balcony. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking eggs in the morning, and the electric kettle was perfect for heating water for coffee and tea. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the town of Pluzine. We drove to hikes in Durmitor and drove along the gorgeous Piva Lake drive. The hosts are wonderful! We had a fabulous stay at Apartment LAKEVIEW and highly recommend it.

Clean apartment with beautiful lake view, simple but fine for a short stay

The apartment was clean with a stunning view of Lake Piva. We stayed in the top apartment of the house – keep in mind you’ll need to carry your luggage up two narrow flights of stairs. The host was nice.

‏There is an electric air freshener in the apartment that releases a constant strong bathroom-like scent throughout the hallway. I had to turn it off because it was disturbing. ‏In the hallway and bathroom, the ceiling is low and sloped from the roof – I bumped my head several times. ‏This is not a luxurious apartment, it’s very basic and suitable for just one night.

Clean, spacious apartment, comfortable bed, spectacular lake view. Despite paying both city tax and VAT, and despite requested we were not provided with a receipt, which raises concerns about the owner's transparency.

The host, Neina (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly), was very friendly and welcoming. The house is clean, very comfortable, and has everything a family might need. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the city beach, where you can swim (the shore is made up of small stones; the water is clean, especially in the morning) or take a cruise on Piva Lake. The host also offers boat cruises, though we hadn’t planned to take one. The apartment offers a stunning view of the lake. It is located on the third floor of the host’s house, with a separate entrance and convenient parking right in front of the building. There were some issues with the Wi-Fi, but in our experience, Wi-Fi was unstable in many places we visited in Montenegro—it seems to be a country-wide issue. Two small things to be aware of: The apartment is on the top floor, so there are about 40 stairs to climb. We found it helpful to bring only what we needed upstairs and leave the rest in the car. Due to the sloped ceiling, taller guests should watch their heads in certain areas of the apartment. Overall – an excellent experience with a beautiful setting and warm hospitality!

Fantastic location. It was very clean and spacious, group of five. It has great balcony with clear view to the lake, free parking and very short walking distance to beach, restaurants and market. Host very helpful and accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay, we will be back.

Cleanliness, the view from the rooms! They have a summer kitchen in the yard, which they let us use, where friends from other accomodations could also gather. It is equipped with complete kitchen equipment so our comfort was absolute!

Serene retreat with breathtaking lake views! The apartment was clean and well-equipped. Overall, a memorable stay in Plužine, Montenegro.

Only downside was the lack of air circulation; a fan would be a great addition.

The lake-view apartment was perfect. It actually was so much better than we expected. I can’t get over how clean the apartment was. It was incredibly comfortable. We arrived late and the owner met us, let us in, and showed us around. Hot showers, great coffee, beautiful view, amazing hosts and perfect beds. I would absolutely come back!!
