Unpleasant experience

Not much, sorry.

Owners are false advertizing their capacities that seems to be more than a coincident or a mistake. We were two riding buddies on motos, so we wanted to book their two bedroom house as on images where you see the exact place you are booking. When we got there the lady owner said that this must be a mistake as that house is not in use or for renting. She had an agressive unpollite aproach from start and continued arguing on a non polite way, she said what did you expect for this money (105€ a night) and that we can only get wooden bungalow with only one bed. We wanted to leave or persisred on two bed rooms that we booked. Finally we got two rooms in another house, but the water did not run for shower, there was no trash can in the house, wifi did not work and my room was still not ready and clean from the last guests. Negative experience would not need to be so bad if lady owner would have a more polite aproach. Her husband tried to smooth things later but we did not feel comfortable interacting with them anymore so we also left early in the morning next day without breakfast. Funny thing that when we left the place, we saw the house we thought we booked for which the owners said its not in use of for renting in the first place, was now occupied by some other tourists. Hour later that first evening young French couple arrived that was also stayng as a guests there and they had the same experience. They also thought they booked the same two bedroom house, but were not so lucky or persistant as they ended in a small bungalow. The energy of the place is not right. They seem to openly take advantage of a high season on such ways to catch voulnerable tourists. They also seem to offer camp spots as I saw few tourist tents, but doubt they were happy customers either as there is no flat ground on their land for tents and all of them were tilted in some direction. So here is explanation on my experience and why such rating. I am a loooong time booking.

Quiet stay in the mountains

We came to House Jaksic on our way through Balkan. After staying in apartments and a hotels it was quite a different experience. The small apartment and the cabin were very basic, but we had everything we needed for a two-night stay. The place was really quiet and peaceful. There was a private bathroom in the apartment and a shared one for the cabin. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was also a small kitchen which we could use for cooking our dinner. However, the best element of this stay were the hosts. They were a wonderful family, very friendly and attentive. We felt like visiting our beloved grandma. We ordered breakfast for both days and we got the opportunity to taste some local dishes. They were truly delicious and the amount of food was incredible. The stuff we didn´t eat the first morning we got as a lunch packet. It wasn´t like staying in a camp. It was like visiting a family. Thank you very much for everything.

There is always something that can be better, but for me even if I found something I didn´t like, it would be outweighed by the positive experience of staying there.

Cute, cozy mountain hut, however overpriced for what you get.

The host could slightly improve cleanliness of the premise (e.g. fridge, sink, overall kitchen area). Some complimentary coffee and tea would also be good for the price paid.

Exceptional

Very nice and quite place, perfect for a few days gеtаway in cozy wooden cabin surrounded by forest, away from traffic, where in the morning you can hear only the sounds of birds. And yet a 10 minute drive from town of Zabljak and Black Lake. Perfect location if you want to climb some of the peaks of Durmitor. The hosts Ljilja and Momo are very nice, welcoming and responsive to messages.

Room was clean and location was nice.

We booked for two nights for a 50m2 chalet and when we arrived we found out that we had to share it with another group, when had a private room but we had to share the kitchen and the bathroom. Room was tiny but okay and if we had known that we had to share we would have gone to someplace cheaper offering the same thing. Expect to be woken up by other people even if they pay attention, walls are very thin. The announcement was misleading and the owner did not bother to explain or apologize. They don’t speak English at all and did not make no effort.

Hard to find with wrong information about it.

Missing address. Wrong telephon number. The host rented our room to other guests while we were looking for the apartment. Brekfast is just coffee and oney and bread. At least we were able to find the apartment with help from local person.

המידע שמופיע באתר לוקה בחסר מאד מאד ומטעה לחלוטין. אופציה שנייה - לא קיבלנו את מה שהזמנו וכאשר אמרנו זאת לבעלים, התשובה היתה שאותו מבנה שהזמנו לפי התמונות לא פעיל. אך למחרת ראינו שהוא מאוכלס ... כלומר שיקרו לנו. הבקתה שקיבלנו לא תאמה את מה שמופיע באתר ושלפיו ביצענו את ההזמנה - לא הגודל (היה אמור להיות 20 מ"ר) , לא המטבחון או ברז ( שלא קיים) , לא מתקן ברבקיו (רק מקרר +קומקום+ שני כוסות), לא חדר מגורים עם ספה ( רק חדר שינה); לא טלוויזיה , לא מגהץ ואפילו לא כלי אוכל או פח .
