Wonderful, rustic, true mountain cabin experience, as well as rafting on the river.

We stayed in one of the stone cabins, so simple and rustic, at the foot of the mountains. I liked that has its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable and warm. Breakfast was good, with cold cuts, omelet, bread, homemade butter, fried doughnuts and homemade jam, and the dinning area was so charming. We enjoyed the welcome drink was a nice touch! They also provide rafting tours for a very good price, the best compared to others around the area.

Room stank of sewage

Free wifi and the outdoor seating area is nice

Room stank of sewage - never smelt anything like it. We opened the windows to air it out but it made no difference. It was really awful and made staying in the room quite stressful. A member of staff showed us to our room and she didn’t react to the smell so it seemed normal for the place. When closing the window the entire lock fell off. The whole place was a ghost town and they were serving dinner at 9pm which seems late to us, so we ate elsewhere. The photos on this website look beautiful but in reality the stone cottages with little water ponds have no water in them and it looks a bit sad. The gate to the camp doesn’t shut properly so at 5am a cow wearing a bell wandered in and spent an hour right next to our window with the bell constantly dinging… so that was fun… I do feel a bit bad writing this review but this was honestly one of the worst places I’ve stayed. €30 per night isn’t much but it was far too expensive for the quality of the stay. I’m confused about the other good reviews…
