About this lodge
South facing Claremont Turret lodge overlooking Windrush lake. Suitably equipped for six people. There is a wrap around decking with patio furniture and gas BBQ for the enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings.
Excellent base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds with Oxford, Bath, Stratford Upon Avon and Cheltenham all within an hours drive!
The space
Sabrie Lodge on Windrush Lake provides a perfect home away from home getaway, with amazing lake views. The lodge has 3 bedrooms set over 2 floors, with an open plan living space making it great for socialising with family & friends. All bedding & towels are provided. (Cot bedding is not provided).
Windrush Lake is a 10 acre carp lake with stunning common's up to 40lb. There are 2 further lakes onsite, 1 also coarse fishing and 1 fly fishing, which is regularly restocked with trout.
If watersports are your thing, paddle boards, rowing boats and kayaks are permitted on Windrush Lake! (See below for a full list of available activities on site).

Windrush lake is located within the Cotswolds Water Park, one of the best kept secrets of Gloucestershire! Its one of 150 lakes spanning an area of 40 square miles. With so much to explore and something for everyone; fishing including Windrush lake itself producing carp to 40lb, watersports, walking, cycling, great eateries, horse riding, gym, spa, history and culture are just some of the things you will find nearby.

All linen and towels are supplied, and we furnish the house with starter-packs of tea, coffee, milk, toilet paper, dishwasher and washing-machine detergent, so you don't have to rush out shopping the minute you arrive.
Pets are welcome subject to approval per individual booking. An additional cleaning fee will be applicable for pet stays.

We had a wonderful stay this week! The location on Windrush Lake is beautiful, particularly when the weather is nice enough to enjoy the large well furnished decking area overlooking the lake. The site has several activities available: 3 great tennis courts, games rooms, a play area and a small football pitch. The house is clean, well furnished and equipped, and light and spacious. Very pleased we chose to stay here!
