The location is ideal and the rooms / bathrooms were a decent size. Catered well for breakfast requests. Useful that you get a car parking space too.

That despite it being advertised as a 'B&B' you don't get breakfast included and are required to pay an additional £15 for breakfast if you want it. Our bathroom door didn't close (Room 2) and the floor and skirting boards were dirty in the bathroom. It is quite a noisy property (i.e. can hear people in rooms above and below) - made it seem expensive for one night at £248.

Excellent breakfast, great service and good choice. We ordered off the menu the night before and all confirmed on time.

Lovely little 2 bedroom cottage. Very clean and cosy, a great little get away celebrating our friendships. The staff was super responsive and helpful. Absolutely lovely and had a brilliant time

Location of Cotteswold house is fabulous. Our host was friendly engaging and helpful. The breakfast option was good. The room was delightfully furnished, the linen clean and crisp.

The bed was very firm and not overly comfortable. During the wee hours of the morning a rather loud machinery noise (boiler?) started and continued throughout this was annoying and loud enough to keep waking me

Perfect location! Nice and quiet! Amazing breakfast! Ricardo made us feel so welcome, he was truly amazing!! Easy walk to the village! Room was stocked well with tea, biscuits, cotton balls, etc(we loved the attention to details) Looking forward to staying again!

Cosy and clean. Such a lovely area. Walk to lovely buildings and lanes, including Arlington row. Trout farm and pub for dinner. Great cafe for breakfast. Parking off street provided.

Someone else’s cases left in our room on arrival. A muddle up with the bill between Cotteswold house and booking.com. It took 4 days to sort out. This was partly due to new ownership from when we originally booked and now

A really great host who was welcoming and friendly. He even came in extra early the next morning to make us a takeaway breakfast as we had to leave by 7am to go to the Air Tattoo! Fabulous bacon and egg muffins, croissants and a treat too, thank you so much! (We were slightly gutted that we couldn’t stay to enjoy a proper breakfast as it looked like it would be amazing!) Our room (room 2) was beautiful, it was the smaller double but big enough for us with a fab bathroom. The fan was much appreciated as it was a very warm night! The bed was very comfy and the pillows were luscious so we had a great night’s sleep. Parking is available on site though a little tight if someone was to park badly.. so as we had to leave early we moved our car in to the lay-by opposite so we could have a quick getaway!

The property was nicely decorated and the furnishings and beds were comfortable. Lovely towels and toiletries. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need.

The unattractive building site just outside and the incredible awful drilling noise through the wall that woke us up first thing in the morning and continued on into the morning. The description indicated it was a courtyard cottage but there is a hedge planted right outside the downstairs window and through the hedge is the carpark. The downstairs was therefore quite dark. The door opens onto the carpark. I would call it an apartment rather than a cottage. The shower was in the bath and the screen leaked and flooded the end of the bathroom. The shower head needed descaling. The downstairs toilet got stuck on flush all night of our second night and kept my son awake. The bedrooms have velux windows so there’s no view and being in the roof, they got very hot as the weather was hot. Fans were provided but they are noisy. We complained about the drilling noise and the staff asked the builders to stop drilling but they went round the side and continued to use electric saws and machinery all morning so our stay was spoilt. I complained and asked for a refund. I was offered an apology and 2 nights free stay once the building work was over. As I don’t intend to return to Bibury, I asked again for a refund. I am still waiting for a resolution from Booking.com.

Accommodation a little tired in places ,could do with a small upgrade,kitchen for example. Freezer needs defrosting so much ice. Edges and corners not governed cobwebs and dust No tea coffee but did leave us milk. A few more towels would have been handy

Few minor things .... not complaining. You ask for feedback. Water left in kettle ,,,,,legioneers. We didnt know how long there. Water left in iron......could Stain clothes Found Huge amount of dust behind bedside table in double room when looking for a plug. No egg cups ! Minor. Parking tight got blocked in.. 10am departure bit too early generally.

Very cosy and clean accommodation in a very lovely location

Only issue we found was the shower liked to leak a lot of water onto the floor as the glass shield let water through., but this is only a minor thing and didn’t take away from the stay at all / experience at all

Breakfast choices were very good and served in a speady and pleasant manner Location was excellent within a short walk to walking trails and main town intersection.

Cotteswold House is perfectly located with a short walk to the hotel / dining options and Arlington Row. The accommodation and services were fantastic as was the breakfast offer and communications from Chanelle , would recommend a stay here !

Could have provided maps of local areas especially the foot paths since there are many available but guests are unsure whether they ar private or public and where they lead too.

Location was perfect. We walked into town and also to hiking trails right from the apartment. We appreciated that there were no steps to climb. We bought breakfast separately, and it was very good and convenient. Comfortable beds.

We could have used some fans during the hot nights.

The entire first floor was like a sauna so so hot. Shower was again scalding hot and unable to get it cooler. Water had very little power anyway.

Beautiful & comfortable rooms, staff were really accommodating and allowed early check in as we were going to a wedding.

The carpark was very tight but there was also on street parking so not the end of the world!
