The Old Brewhouse

I made this booking on behalf of my (adult) son, who had a very early interview for a job. Not only did the hotel keep in touch regarding his stay, they actually gave him a free room upgrade and took the best care of him at breakfast. Regarding the breakfast, they helpfully agreed to serve it half an hour earlier than their normal start time - to accommodate the start time of his interview. Not only that, they messaged me to say what a lovely young man he is and wishing him the best of luck with his interview! We chose this hotel because of its location and because it offers breakfast as part of the room rate. Not only that, but this can include either a cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast. This is different to several other hotels which either don't offer breakfast at all or only offer a continental breakfast. My son opted for a cooked breakfast which was "great" and "plentiful" (his words). This set him up for a very full day in which he actually had two interviews, the first in Cirencester and the second in London! As regards the accommodation, his room was comfortable and clean and he slept right through. We will definitely stay there again. Full marks to such a professional and caring establishment.

We were tucked in an attic room. It was terribly small. Not one inch to put any bathroom products. I booked a standard room, but the description did not indicate it was in the attic. Large head beams on both sides of the bed. Very dangerous . I was very disappointed.
