Superb

Really beautiful location next to a small river. The rooms were very spacious and with a nice view. We are a family of 5 so we had two adjoining rooms in a really good price. Once we checked in the owner informed us that we coukd use the living room area and dining area!! We couldn't stay for breakfast but the owner was all prepared to treat us. Would definitely recommend this place.

Cosy spring break in the heart of the Ardennes

Au fil de l'eau is indeed exceptional - Rama and André are fantastic and very welcoming hosts. The rooms are clean and spatious, and the breakfast is very good and hearty, with local cold meats and cheeses, as well as eggs from own hens (an extra attraction for the kids). Courtesy of Rama, on a couple of occasions we were treated to delicious surprise deserts. The location is excellent and very convenient for trips, both hiking and musea, with lots of options in the 20 min-drive radius - we travelled by car, but the B&B is also next to the railway station so easy to access by train. In the next village, Bure (25 mins walk), there is a nice bakery Jacob, open all week, which is great for picnic options (may need pre-booking).

The location was very close to the station. The apartment was cosy and perfect, with an amazing view from each of the windows. The breakfast was super.

Traditional house, location 15 min drive to Grotte de Haan, easy parking, cattle and coffe machine, fridge.

This booking was for a family room with two double beds and a single bed and private bathroom. This is the only double family room and bathroom in the house. In spite of that, the owner took a booking from my friend for another room and accepted her payment. At the end we needed to stay in my room with one bathroom. It was by itself not an issue, beacuse we came less people than we originally planned. But we believe the 2nd booking should have not been taken and definitley was not supposed to be charged. But we got our money back, once we showed the description of the room from booking. Also, we got no invoice.

Superb

Very friendly and helpful owners, you book a family bedroom but what you actually get is the full house with exception to the shared kitchen. Value for money. Lovely garden, position for walking and exploring the region. Children liked the chickens, the little extra treats, Netflix. We were also forgiven a little incident with a broken object.

The shared kitchen, but keep in mind that the accommodation is "room only" so you really get a lot of extras

Excellent!

Our stay at Au fil de l'eau was 100 times better than expected. The owners are the sweetest people who welcomed us, showed us around and made us feel really comfortable and welcome. We could use the kitchen with all the spices, pots, we had a fire place to chill around and the rooms were super spacious with comfy beds, super clean bathroom and amazing view to the river. Breakfast were so great and in the evening the lady even offered us to share their meal which was restaurant level lamb shoulder. Oh and not to forget the dessert - rice pudding with fresh fruit coulis and berries. We felt more than in heaven. I am afraid there is no better place for the money in ardennes... Definitely gonna come back there later in the summer to enjoy the sunny terrace!

Host is super nice. He prepared everything for our arrival. We were the only guest in the house so we had chance to enjoy the living room and the dining room. My daughter loved chickens in the garden. She was super happy. Will certainly return if we visit again this area.

Uitstekend verblijf

De gastvrouw en gastheer waren uitermate vriendelijk. Regelmatig werd gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Het ontbijt was uitstekend en zeker voldoende. We gaan zeker terug.

Het enige wat tegenviel was het weer, waardoor we niet konden genieten van het terras. Verder helemaal niets

O pequeno almoço era muito bom e apresentado com bastante cuidado e organização. Os croissants foram servidos quentinhos e muito estaladiços.

Não tenho nada a apontar e irei regressar.
