Great comfy stay , great views

Music at the breakfast , felt like Austrians have no heritage , playing dump brit music , breakfast could have more warm selection not just boiled eggs , especially for colder months . rooms are noisy , and close to the road, so if you have selfish loud exhausts bikers or cars , it creates issues

wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel. The location is perfect, directly next to the lake, with a breathtaking view facing the center of Zell am See on the other side. The area is extremely quiet and peaceful, which made our stay very relaxing. We stayed in the family room with a lake view, and it was truly one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. In the morning, the sound of the lake water gently hitting the shore near the room was absolutely beautiful and very calming. The room was spotlessly clean, simple, cozy, and very comfortable. All the other rooms also have beautiful balconies, offering lovely views. The breakfast was traditional and excellent. It gives you a real feeling of the simple and authentic life of Zell am See, which we really enjoyed. Special thanks to Mr.Thomas, who was more than wonderful. He helped us a lot during check-in and was extremely patient in explaining the hotel services, transportation options in the city, and nearby tourist attractions. We also thank his mother, who was very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true family-style stay. If possible, choose the family room for the best experience. ‏Note: Taxis are available upon request, but I recommend renting a car with a driver or a private car for more convenience. Highly recommended.

Nice accommodation on the lake shore

This accommodation was nice. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly man. We had a room with a third bed (listed as an extra bed upon request), so it was a bit cramped, but fine. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, only the pillows were "cheaper". We had a room facing the street on the corner of the building, so it was a little noisier (especially in the morning), but we expected that when choosing the room. Every day, the room was briefly cleaned. Breakfast was served on the ground floor in the reception room right on the lake shore, so there was a beautiful view of the lake and the town of Zell am See. The breakfast selection was very good. The area around the lake is very nice, we recommend taking a walk. Parking was right next to the hotel, and there were plenty of spaces during our stay.

The pillows were "cheaper" (not very well stuffed), so they were less comfortable. Rooms facing the street tend to be quite noisy in the morning – this is something to bear in mind if you choose such a room.

No tea /coffee making facilities. We weren't warned of the flights of stairs. - too much for elderly guests. Advertised as Zell-am-See but it wasn't. - Too far to get a meal or even a coffee.

The owner doesn't speak good English, she wasn't the nicest. The beds were not really comfortable.

Views

All about the views. Possibly the only thing better than being in Zell am See is being across the lake looking at the views from the sunny side. The apartment was comfortable and the staff were very kind. Good continental breakfast to start the day too was a nice bonus. We're looking forward to staying again.

Stunning view on Kitzsteinhorn

The hotel is located on the shore of the Zeller See and you can admire the snowy Kitzsteinhorn from your balcony or even from your bed. In the evening you can see the lights from the Zell am See resort reflected beautifully on the surface of the lake. The appartment is very bright and warm, soundproof, on the third floor. The private kitchen is very useful. The appartment has two separate balconies with view on the lake.

Because of the location in Thumersbach, you can only reach Zell am See city center, any supermarket or any ski lift by car (there are few buses available).

Low price, Ideal location, Zero service

The affordability of Price and the amazing location.

The lack of the simplest facilities in room like kettle, blackout curtains, and bathroom sets. The parking area 🅿️ is pretty small, I even had to park my car 200 meters away from the hotel. Finally, the lady who runs the property wasn’t quite friendly with us like she is with other residents.

Amazing view, we have stayed in family room on ground floor, the access was easy, no troubles with the parking. The breakfast was ok, beds were comfortable.

The room had a big dining table, but no glasses/plates. It would be nice to have some, an electric kettle maybe, plus a wine opener.

There was a bus that took you to zell am see but it wasn't very regular and didn't operate very late. Taxis were quite expensive to get around. So better if you had your own car when on this side of the lake

Need to put lining with curtains on roadside rooms, a lot of light coming in from street lights. Unfortunately, when families stay, hard flooring everywhere, a lot of noise , in corridors etc.Though I understand the interior needs to be kept for skiers etc, easy to maintain

Friendly personal. Amazing lake view from room and from the restaurant. Breakfast is fine enough. As i understand there's bus available every morning if you want to leave hotel without own transport. Few minutes to go to any popular location on own car.

Bed mattresses better to change, i felt springs and this explained why i had my back hurt during stay.
