1)Having the downstairs apartment was great for my parents, they had their own space and didn't need to use the stairs every time they needed something.
2)The steps into the pool were great, the children could sit and play in the water without having to be carried the whole time.
3) Good proximity to the supermarkets (Lidl 5 minute walk, Aldi 10 minute walk and Mercadona under 15 minute).
4) The beach and restaurants ect are in walking distance (20 minutes)
5) Villa was lovely, prefect for a family holiday.
6) Great value for money, would definitely stay here again.
No major issues, a couple of minor improvements could make all the difference.
1) The handle on the downstairs apartment was loose and made it difficult to open.
2) One of the pool side parasols was broken, went to put it up and the fabric fell off. The other parasol worked fine.
3) The washing machine didn't work, came up with an error message (low water) found the valve to add water but it's under the worksurface, between the machine and cupboard making it out of reach.

Mosquito bites every night despite using sprays plugins candles and burners- never had this issue before in Calpe and all 5 of our party were bitten. Perhaps a close proximity to static water/lake??
A few drying cloths would have been useful but did not affect the holiday at all

good position
pool not heated , single bedroom smelt of sewage, shower handle broken down stairs toilet and shower gurgling when in use could be drains

Location was excellent for beaches, town and supermarkets...
Villa not well cleaned for arrival
Cockroach infestation which whilst treat mid stay still persisted throughout stay.
10 day stay without change of bed linen.
