The caravan was not what was advertised it was dirty beyond belief couldn't even shower because room was disgusting the whole place smelt of skunk and stale urine wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Like the site, beach close by.

When we arrived, no one knew we were coming. Caravan was a disappointment. Dirty, stained duvets, pillows, beds, sofa, carpets. Single room not usable as one of the beds, protector and duvet drenched in urine, the stench was repulsive, sofa stinks of urine too, ants everywhere. Cracked french coffee press, damaged bedroom door, dirty walls. We had to pay £100 deposit that hasn't been given back yet even though we cleaned the whole caravan and left it in a better condition than it was when we arrived. No proper TV signal, dead batteries in the remote. Won't be coming back. Entertainment passes compulsory, waste of money. We took photos and videos of everything after reading the bad reviews, should have read them before we booked. It's a nice big caravan. it just needs a lot of TLC for the price.

The staff at the park were amazing. They went above and beyond, the manager was outstanding. Extremely friendly. The site was clean. Good entertainment. Food in the restaurant was good. Close to Llandudno and the zoo.

Although the owner of the caravan accepted our booking last minute and helped us out of a serious situation (as we were at the wrong Golden sands, after a nightmare drive). The caravan itself was dirty and very run down. The hot water was scolding and the temperature unpredictable, so we could not shower. Cooker was not working correctly, so it took a long time to make anything. The kitchen items were all dirty, the mattresses stained and uncomfortable. Blinds were all broken. No basics such as toilet paper, bin bags, washing up liquid and no shop on site, but there is a small shop near the entrance. There were plenty of quilts and pillows, but some of them smelt. The price was way too high £360 for 3 nights, not including £100 refundable deposit (which they did not make us pay due to the situation), entertainment passes, and bedding linen All of which were extra charges. If it wasn't for the situation and I had booked this under normal circumstances, I would have been very annoyed.

The property was very dirty lots of things were broken I had to spend money to buy cleaning stuff to make it clean warl I was there and both my babies have ended up poorly witch I’m not very happy about

Comfy caravan, roomy double bedroom plus on suite.

Nice sized caravan main bedroom had lots of room each side of the bed plus the on suite was great had to take our own bedding and towels so took our own duvets as well this wasn't a problem.

Relaxing inviting and enjoyable

The location was fantastic. I went over Xmas so it was quite obvious that’s nothing to do with the owner. For the money I got a fantastic deal. It was clean and had everything I needed and the owner was very friendly and helpful and was extremely quick to give me my deposit back In fact I got it paid into my account the day I left.

The Caravan for the price 550 pounds for 3 nights (bank holiday) was very disappointing.

The Park and entertainment for kids where great. The location was perfect to go straight onto the beach within minutes.

The Caravan was very dirty, it looked like the kitchen had not been cleaned at all. Everything was sticky, with food marks on the cupboards, microwave, and windows. Dirty oven and Grill with unwashed utensils left in grill. Not one single bin was provided in the whole caravan. The bed was stained and the mattress was stained and dirty. Stained sofa and curtains. The place smelt of old cigarette smoke and the carpets need washing. Mold in the shower. Very poor quality bedding, no quilt provided just a thin blanket. Fag ends all around the steps to the caravan. I then had to fight hard to get my deposit back, as they said I had coursed damaged. I was able to prove I did not do the damage because I had taken photographs of everything damaged and dirty as soon as I got to the Park. If the place was given a little love - a deep clean, new mattress' and bedding and better kitchen items and a bin. This would be a nice place.

Quiet at night. We loved the site and entertainment etc but accommodation poor.

Not comfortable like the pictures, no cushions etc, furnishings quite old and marked, bed creaked and marked. Price excessive for quality.

My Kids enjoyed it and thats all that matters.

Loved the area how close it was to the beech and the entertainment.

The fact i couldnt take all 4 of my children to swimming on my own as a single mum of 4 had to demand to speak to a maneger or then stated we could go but had to stay in the baby pool and the fact that it was 10 till 11 but was called out at 10.45 after getting changed before getting in and then getting out we had like 15 mins to actually be in there and had to book to even get in and so we only get to go 1 day out of the 4 nights we were there was abit of a joke.

Good

Great Location, easy to find, very close to main facilities, restaurant, pool and to the beach. Number of beds plus the long L-shaped sofa makes it very good fit for a family of 5-6 people. The kitchen and living room are really nice areas to share good times with friends or family. Freezer and refrigerator are very good size so you won't struggle putting there all you need. The place is just 4 minutes drive to the big ASDA, so you can go there and buy all supplies you may need. Kitchen is also very well equipped with all necessary to cook. It is also very close to other town's entertainment and good places to visit with the kids. Recommended to go to SC2, miniature railway, Tramway, aquarium and fun fairs near by. The food at the facilities restaurant is also very nice.

Needs improvement in general cleaning (carpets), also to make sure guests DO NOT SMOKE as it is requested inside the caravan. All the place stinks to cigarette (for sure this can be solved :) ). It also would be good to have some minimum standards like toilet paper, few soaps, and when rules permit it, blankets and pillow covers. The place is really nice, it just needs a little bit more effort in the details to make it much better and comfortable. Also in future, please consider to accept little pets, the whole facility and main restaurant are pet-friendly and it is really sad to see dogs every where but in the caravan. Finally, it would be ideal to have available the facilities' fee in advance so by renting the place people could be previously aware of the different rates according to the season.

the caravan was unclean, it had leaking radiator which left an unpleasant smell, some of which didn’t work at all. holes in its doors from previous residents. but the main issue was lack of water supply. although this couldn’t not be helped as the underground pipes had frozen. and there was no bedding/towels supplied. so I had to go and buy my own duvet covers and pillow cases.

Great caravan and complex

The caravan was immaculate and perfect for what we needed. The complex was great and the beach was a stones throw away and could be heard from our caravan. It was quiet and everyone was friendly. Food on site was reasonably priced and nice. We didn't need to go off site except for the shop and shopping. The pub was reasonably priced and no more expensive per pint than anywhere else. The bingo for kids was great and my two loved playing it.

The shop was on main road which was a 10 min walk down the driveway and no lighting or footpath so not really practical use after dark if not in a car. The cash machine on site didn't work and the pub didn't do cashback for the cash bingo. There was no warning of how much guest passes were which were needed to access some facilities.

Golden sands with winter blues

It served a purpose as a temporary accommodation. There was a nice walk along the promenade and so many interesting places to visit nearby. Price was fairly sensible.

Access to the camp site is quite a challenge at time to access the main road or turn from the main road into the entrance. Cooking was a challenge the gas pressure was very bad. Boiled potatoes took nearly 1 hour. The caravan is a bit dated and needs a good clean especially the carpet. No WiFi. Laundry pay as you go starting price £5 per load.

Very enjoyable just not long enough

The location of the caravan was perfect for my grandchildren to play on the playground, the caravan was like a home away from home and very comfortable. We only stayed for the weekend but hoping to book again for a longer stay

Nice relaxing break, in the caravan.

The peace and quiet of the location, was lovely. The caravan itself was not really sparkling clean,but acceptable. The central heating was needed as we had an elderly lady in the party. I Would stay here again definitely.

The seating and mattresses were too soft for me personally, I prefer a firmer bed and seating. I did suffer with my back , throughout the stay.

Stains on seating area in caravan Toilet seat broken in main bathroom Front door got stuck while opening and didn't close fully be able to see the outside and when blew on night caused aloud whilsting noise thought the caravan.
