Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and the Host, who lived close by, was really welcoming and helpful. Our first time in the valleys and we were able to see all we planned. A cosy friendly and warm home!

Tiny quaint cottage just outside Blaenau Ffestiniog. Well equipped kitchen. Sitting/dining room adequate and had TV annd wood burner for colder nights and place generally warm. Bathroom had shower and plenty of hot water. The mould needs cleaning off the surrounds of the shower tray. Double room was a bit small but bed was comfortable. A visitors pack with a few more details would help such as what to do with recyclables on leaving. The back door entrance is in need of improvement. It had been raining heavily and steps to entrance were slippy and one of the party twisted her foot in an open gully at the bottom of the steps and fell. I’m rather surprised this cottage has Finest Retreat Status.

Easy to find with the instructions given. Lovely and cosy, clean and with everything you need. Great location and easy road access to all the hotspots. Comfy bed and road was quiet at night. Slept well. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe at all times. Highly recommend! Thanks :)

Very calm, plenty of places to walk, caves, mines, mountains. Beautiful surrounding. If you are looking for super fast broadband, better not to travel to the area (I am not saying anything wrong with the house). You will be surrounded by the mountains and signal is poor. But we didn't want WiFi much and therefore highly recommended and we will be staying again in the summer.

Absolute amazing. Great location beautiful views. Clean, tidy perfect for me and my boys. Host was responsive, I asked for an earlier check in and they was able to change with no extra charge. The host also left us a voucher for a free breakfast at the local cafe which was very kind and very tasty. Will Definitely return.
