Beautiful views

The room was small to the point I could only fully stand at one end (You can see how small it is as the door frame to the bathroom has had to be cut at an angle to fit). It was very dated & the bathroom smelled of damp. I'm sure the owners are very proud of their eco home & it is impressive that they've created it but it's not value for money (especially if they are saving money running it by definition of it being "eco"). The kettle is of the type that has the cord attached and doesn't exactly fit in the sink to be filled. This could be dangerous if the plug gets soaked. Simply replacing this would be a helpful start.

Lovely hosts, magical setting, and a Hobbit house full of character.

We stayed in the small Hobbit house. It was cosy, warm and exactly as described. The location was quiet and beautiful, close to the lake, and the surroundings made it a perfect place to relax. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a lovely stay and we would definitely return.

If I have to say something I didn’t like, it’s that time flew too fast – we only had a few days in this Hobbit house, and I wish I could have stayed much longer.

Great location But...

Bryh Elltyd Eco in Wales was a wonderful stay. The location was peaceful and scenic, with a truly beautiful view. The big, comfortable bed made for a great night’s sleep, and the setting felt close to nature while still being relaxing and cozy.

I found the stay overpriced for what was offered. The furniture felt quite old-fashioned, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. The open shower design, with no curtain or dedicated cabin, meant water splashed all over the toilet area. Also, the kettle was positioned on a short cable in a way that risked splashing hot water, which felt unsafe.

Beautiful location. Easy access to activities and places of interest in the region. The location and facilities were exactly as described. Charging for an electric car was an added bonus. Zero carbon footprint.

Not really anything to dislike but the room could do with a bit of TLC. The lights above the bed didn't work and the internal doors were difficult to close.

Beautiful Stay

The location was awesome, bed really comfy, shower consistent hot water. John and Ceilia very welcoming and friendly. Had a wonderful weekend exploring. The main reason was a prebooked walk up Mount snowdon so location was just perfect.

What an awesome place to unwind!

The location was perfect and great spot to have as a base. From here we could travel out and explore. Unfortunately it was raining most of the time we were there.

Delightful stay in a beautiful area and amazing value for money.

The garden and location were stunning and the hosts were very friendly but not intrusive at all. The unit was cozy and private and the information pack regarding the history of the house was a fun addition. The provided cookies were delicious and just what we needed after travelling.

Some of the furnishings were slightly dated but were nice so no real complaints. To be very picky, the radio by the bed made a hissing sound even when set to 'off', we turned this off at the wall for our stay.

Quiet beautiful location with great Mountain View’s. The ecological aspect and arrangements are very impressive . The host very knowledgeable about the surrounding and helpful . The garden room with shower was so comfortable… we slept extremely well.

Stunning views, great place quite and secluded.

I loved my stay the owners where amazing and so helpful. Kettle welcome biscuits, tea bags, milk, coffee and sugar. The location was perfect nice and isolated, nice lake and a cafe opposite to go for a cuppa, breakfast or lunch etc. Not too mention cakes and treats. Town was just over 30 minutes to walk but the bus comes straight to the corner. No user eats or kitchen facilities so if ur eating make sure u go out or buy ready eat foods. Behind the hills can be climbed and a steam train goes by which is nice to see. Don't get that everyday. Can walk around the lake takes about 1 hour and 40-45 minutes without stopping that is. Hearing the birds around is nice there's even a stream next to the cafe. About 13 minutes from a waterfall up north of the cafe. Gotta clean the floor after a shower but it's easy as they provide the squeegee for this ☺ All in all its a lovely place to stay would definitely go back and recommended to others beautiful garden to sit in read a book.

Beautiful location and convenient for all activities in the area and beyond. John is passionate and informative about sustainability and the house is an eco gem. Huge comfortable bed in room and really well insulated and warm. Gardens with stunning views to relax in.

We stayed in Twlc Machynlleth knowing it was a bedroom and en-suite. The weather was glorious and we ate outdoors surrounded by the mountain views. If it had been raining though an indoor area with a table would have been useful.

Mooie ligging, met weinig comfort

Omgeving is fantastisch: historie, natuurschoon & wandelgebied. Dit is Wales op zijn best.

Accommodatie is okay voor één nacht, maar voor langer verblijf te beperkt. Ons 'tuinhuis' Hobbit vonden we ongemakkelijk klein, en was, tijdens de warme dagen, bloedheet. Ook voor een regenachtige dag en binnen zitten lijkt weinig bewegingsruimte geen pretje.
