Location was amazing

nothing not to like

Hosts are really welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. The eco hotel is lovely, solar power and water heating and a bonus of EV charging on site. The area is stunning, absolutely beautiful.

These are my personal thoughts and are not a criticism. We stayed in the Hobbit room, which has a low ceiling, being 6'3", i was touching the roof in all but the end of the room. The hot water for the shower does take a while to come through the pipes, but is nice and hot once its through. We had a great time here and would not hessitate to recommend this place and stay again.

The room was small to the point I could only fully stand at one end (You can see how small it is as the door frame to the bathroom has had to be cut at an angle to fit). It was very dated & the bathroom smelled of damp. I'm sure the owners are very proud of their eco home & it is impressive that they've created it but it's not value for money (especially if they are saving money running it by definition of it being "eco"). The kettle is of the type that has the cord attached and doesn't exactly fit in the sink to be filled. This could be dangerous if the plug gets soaked. Simply replacing this would be a helpful start.
