The cottage was homely and it was good to have a safe parking space!
The location was brilliant, the little train ran behind the cottage and we could hear the whistle and smell the smoke of the train. The Welsh highland railway! The beds were comfortable! The stairs were a little bit steep for my wife, as we are both elderly. But we were happy in the cottage.
A toilet upstairs would have been handy. And the stairs less steep. That’s just because of our ages?

Cosy, tranquil and isolated
The property was a lovely size and close enough to the mountains for hiking.
The cleaner wasn’t able to make it to the property due to snowy conditions, so we had to change the sheets

Lovely cottage
Lovely cottage, only 20 minutes drive from Porthmadog. Quiet hamlet, great views.
It was quite dusty and we would've liked a hoover to be available as we stayed there a week and there wasn't a hoover. This was a bigger deal for us than most as one of us has severe asthma. It was lovely and cosy, but the towels didn't always smell super fresh, and there weren't any oven gloves. Other than this, the cottage had everything we needed and was a great base.

Extremely cosy cottage. So beautiful, we didn’t want to leave! Everything ran smoothly. Lovely setting. Lovely host. Not far at all from many activities, days out, shops. Would highly recommend staying here.
