We had a lovely holiday thank you.

On arrival the house was lovely, very cosy, well decorated and furnished. However we soon had some major plumbing issues that unfortunately were never resolved. The bath plug got stuck in the plug hole meaning a bath full of dirty water that couldn't be drained, and so we couldn't use the bath/shower again. We contacted support and a lady did come out, but was unable to resolve the issue. She disappeared saying she was going to get a plumber and then we never saw or heard from her again. Luckily my husband eventually was able to remove the plug but we were then unable to use the bath for the rest of the trip, as the mechanism for raising/lowering the plug was broken, so we were unable to bathe our child. The bath/shower also leaks terribly so the bathroom floor was soaked after every use. The property is described as having a garden on the listing - it doesn't. it has an extremely small yard. This was disappointing as we had a dog with us so there was nowhere for her to roam. The area is also very disappointing. It's a dump, to put it kindly. The 'high street' is just full of empty decaying shops, There is a couple of convenience stores, a coffee shop and chippy, but it is not somewhere nice to explore or go for a walk, be prepared to drive to get to anywhere worth spending time. Also, the provision of some basics would be a nice touch, there was one binbag provided for a weeks stay, one toilet roll, not even any basics such as oil for cooking.

Modern, clean and welcome pack Although parking is possible it is limited and the neighbours insist they have priority. So better to promote the long stay free carpark by the church.
