Beautiful location, we have stayed in that area a few times now. The cottage was lovely and cosy. Biscuits and Prosecco were a nice arrival touch!
The sofa bed could do with an update but was still useable.

The property was very clean and cosy which made us comfortable from the start. Nice home atmosphere and a relaxed holiday place! The super hot tub after climbing is just a perfect idea!
No complain, all fine.

Everything was amazing. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, cosy hot tub was great after a day out walking. The area was great. The hosts are very responsive.
I would have preferred to control the heating from the cottage

Remote and quiet location. Great waterfall trail nearby. Loved the biscuits and Prosecco on arrival. Very nice touch. Host easily contactable and responsive. Bed comfy.
The place is very small so feels a bit cramped. Think it is a converted garage. Shower water pressure terrible and gets extremely hot. Could have been cleaner (dog paw prints on bedding, floor had muddy foot prints on entering, hot tub could do with a good clean). Think it’s a little overpriced for the size of the property and the standard of the amenities.

Location was fantastic , we were comfortable and the hosts had left lovely welcoming touches.
Only one problem was the roads , only because we were in an old camper and they were very steep . Perfect if we were equipped for the road .

It was quiet
It wasn’t a cottage as suggested. And definitely not an ideal location for climbing snowdon.
Accommodation was ok but a lot of small minor things that could be improved on.

The bed was comfortable and hot tub was great
Found there were a lot of cobwebs above the door, tv was a nightmare to use and we had a power cut during the evening which wasn’t ideal half way through a shower.

The hot tub was the best thing about our stay as the weather was awful. Runs from 4-10pm. Good location to the waterfall, mountain walks & lake. Dog Friendly. Beds were comfortable & place was warm. Welcome gifts of small prosecco, cookies, chocolates & pint of milk. Enough toilet & kitchen roll provided for 3 nights, aswell as shampoo, conditioner & shower gel dispenser..Fire stick TV, Netflix & Prime.
Place was too small for us. Not a cottage or bungalow ...when sofa bed was out for our daughter, there is literally no living space. Some things need attention. Spot light above sink flickering which was bad in the evening when cooking or washing up. Leak under the sink, broken lock on bathroom, cupboard doors don't close properly, large wall clock not working. Overall finish at property is pretty bad. Parking is tight with large car when trying to shut gates or get to the bins. Did not like the camera facing straight into the hot tub shed, surely this is an invasion of privacy?

Pretty outside area and prosecco, shortbread and chocs were a very nice touch
Rough around the edges, fairly poor DIY job, cheap and tired fittings, poorly tiled, kitchen cabinets didn't close properly. Missing basics like a table, a bin, brush and towels. Very expensive for a cheap conversion job. Not representative of £170 quid a night.

Nice little place. Very close to some lovely walks.
Well, i take my hat off to the photographer,as the property looked like a nice spacious appartment. However, in reality, we began to feel like a sardine. All I can say is lucky I'm little!
I'm not sure what was going on with the heating,it seemed to be confused. We became morning icicles after being boiled overnight.
The shower was fine, but not fun for the vertically challenged.
Definitely a place for 2 rather than 3. And you would need to meet a minimum height requirement to shower and reach many things in the kitchen.

The scenery and the area is beautiful
It should be marketed as a converted garage/shed , it is not a cottage or a bungalow it is attached to the cottage. It’s a great idea but could have been converted better.

The location although difficult and kinda scary to drive to is gorgeous. I absolutely loved waking up and hearing sheep and being within such beautiful scenery. The hosts were very thorough and gave clear direction on how to get there. When we arrived there was popcorn, cookies and prosecco which was a great treat. Kitchen had full amenities such as a full knife set, kettle, toaster, chopping boards, utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. Also had salt and pepper and oil. In the fridge there was a small milk and some water bottles and also tea coffee sugar on the side which was fantastic. Book with how to work the TV and the hottub etc which was really helpful.
Location is a short walk to a beautiful waterfall and also to the start of the snowdonia slate trail which is fantastic and really helpful. There was WiFi which worked perfectly and had no issues with.
The hot tub was gorgeous and again clear instructions on how to use it.
The hosts were also brilliant with us and allowed us to lock the gates so we could keep our dog safe as the garden area is the drive way so we were able to let her out without worrying about the road etc.
There was also bedding provided which was lovely and toilet roll, soap, cleaning supplies etc.
Would definitley stay again, think some areas just need a little TLC but there's no huge errors.
The main thing to note before booking that this is a converted garage up a very steep road. It had a bathroom and kitchen, lounge and bedroom so was well kitted out but is still ultimately an old garage which has been self done from the looks of things so some cupboards were a in need of a bit of repair and the kettle and toaster could be updated as they looked extremely old and battered. There isn't a lot of space for clothes, one very small clothes rail and a small slim set of drawers so ensed up living half out of cases. The road is very steep so if you were going with someone who was less able to walk or a pram etc you would find it very difficult.
Part of its charm is how remote it is but that also means you are relying on either cooking or driving a while for food so be prepared before you go.
Also, due to location there are lots of insects.
However, main concern was that the house that the garage belongs to had CCTV which looked straight at the hot tub.once you're in the hot tub you wouldn't be seen but didn't like walking to and from in bathing suits tbh.

The location was stunning, the host was very welcoming & provided little extras such as Prosecco & cookies when we arrived.
There was a hot tub to use which was lovely after long days walking.
All in all the place was lovely and cosy and I would 100% recommend it.

Lots of local walks.

the property was clean and as described, the pastries, strawberries, milk and prosecco were a nice touch, bed was comfy and the property had everything I expected. I thought the proactivity shown in terms of directions and useful info about the route in etc were very helpful.
the parking was a little tight for a big car. Unfortunatley the hot tub seemed very 'chemically' we could only stay in for about 5 minutes due to eyes and throat issues - this could be a personal thing so please don't be put off but wanted to mention in case it needs revision.

Very cosy, isolated feel, even though it's essentially a garage attached to a small row of cottages.
Welcome gifts were brilliant and very welcome.
Plus a lovely hot tub all ready to jump in to. And a private parking space off road was really good too.

It was brilliant. The only issues we had was finding it, but the host sent us pictures before we travelled to ensure that we could find it easy enough.
The bed was SOOOOO comfy!
The hot tub was clean, and cosy little shed.
Perfect little break for the two of us.
Will defo be back.

Lovely, remote location a stone’s throw from the slate capital of Europe. Excellent base for further exploration of Snowdon National Park but also going further afield to see such wonders as Portmerion, Porthmadog (get the Ffestigniog gauge train - you’ll thank me later) and many Welsh castles. The property itself is cosy and well-equipped. The underfloor heating makes it really toasty and the addition of a hot tub adds to its charm. Absolutely phenomenal.
The host is professional, courteous and incredibly accommodating. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Location was exceptional, facilities were great and clean and the host was very pleasant and also very knowledgeable of the local area. The prosecco and chololates were a nice touch.
Nothing to dislike.

One of the best places we have stayed in the UK so far. the attention to detail is impressive. It has everything you need and more, the hot tub is a great bonus.
Definitely best value for money in Snowdonia

Absolutely amazing place, couldn't have dreamt of most perfect location and cottage to spend New Year at. Couldn't have been better, spolited by Proseco and cake to greet us.
Thank you so much. Definitely coming back xx

Fantastic location. Good size and equipment in the kitchen. Nice bathroom. Floor heating is fantastic. Hot tube is a benefit.
Rather suggestion than minus but sofa bed in the living room was uncontrollable. If it will be changed in near future that will be dream place for family stay.

Lovely cosy 1 bedroom house. Under floor heating was amazing. Prosecco and buns left to welcome us on our short break. Amazing views. Host recommendations on where to eat was absolutely delicious. Overall was a fantastic stay.
Hot tub door didn't close once we was inside so was quite annoying trying to relax in the warmth with the freezing cold wind blowing in, also there seems to be a camera pointing directly into the hot tub area which wouldn't be an issue if the door closed or it had a blind you could pull down.
