Location was great. Near all sights, metro station and grocery stores.

spacious, well equipped, central to metro station and tourist areas.
shower head broken and very frustrating - easy to fix but NOT fixed. only one key for the main door. initial access in was slow and waited until a local person let us in. No washing machine in a sweaty town?

The location is superb! The apartment is in the middle of a beautiful street mentioned in several guides and is situated in the old city. Only thing that could be disturbing someone is the noise coming from the street. Especially when FC Porto plays in Porto :) But on booking you would know this so for us it was not an issue.
The apartment is about 400m from the main trainstation and metrostation Sâo Bento and that is also great!
The aparment is clean, large and has all facilities you need. We do like the high sealings.

It's a massive old flat in the heart of the tourist district of Porto. Good value for what and where it is, and has a fully kitted out kitchen, but couldn't help feeling it lacked soul.
It's soullessly decorated: white walls, neutral everything. You got the feeling it had been taken over by a faceless agency and put together by robots. It's a fantastic apartment but not done in the best way.
And while it was nice being central, if I had my time again I would stay somewhere more "real". This area is a bit like staying on the Royal Mile in Edinbirgh, or the Champs-Elysee in Paris, or on Trafalgar Square in London. Fine if you want a very tourist experience but not a great place to see the real Porto.
