This delightful property is set in one acre of beautiful gardens with a summer house and a large pond. The Cabin has one double bedroom & also a sofa bed in the lounge area. It also has a shower room, kitchenette / dining area / lounge. The property is very well equipped. Set amid charming countryside within easy reach of the Forest of dean, Symonds Yat, Cheltenham, Gloucester, The Cotswolds, Malvern & Hartpury College, Close to numerous attractions. We needed a New Year's escape to rest and reset after a busy year and this log cabin was exactly what we needed. We had a great stay from start to finish, enjoyed the beautiful garden surroundings, had a great pub lunch & enjoyed breakfast after checking out at the local bakery. Great hosts, great location, great cabin.

We had an amazing stay at this charming wooden cottage. The tranquility of the location was exactly what we were looking for – so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is cozy and beautifully maintained. Our hosts, Clive and Kaeren, were fantastic. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Property gave us everything we needed for a couple of days away. Hosts were fantastic always looking to give advice on what to do in the local area. Garden is beautiful and lots of games and sports equipment to keep the kids entertained. Would definitely go back.

Lovely week at Clive and Karens garden. A boat trip at Symonds yat east and a train ride from Lidney plus all of the out lying area , down the Severn to Chepstow. Good meal at the White Hart. Regards Jenny & Ben.

We booked at the last minute for a 2 night stay and was delighted with the log cabin which was spotless. The use of the garden was an added bonus being able to walk around rather than being restricted to our terrace. Clive and Kaeron were good hosts being friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it very much.

Clive and Kaeren were wonderful hosts. Check in/out was easy. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and extensive. Our 1 year old went for daily walks, there is a pond with bridge going over where ducks gather set on stunning green and over-looking the fence you can see sheep grazing. We will be coming back. It was superb and the private patio was a bonus. Oh and very clean. Thank you Clive and Karean.

Beautiful log cabin in a great location, beautiful views and tranquil. We loved watching the birds on the bird feeder outside our window and the ducks on the pond! Exceptionally clean accommodation, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, very attentive to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning!

Exactly as we expected, a charming cabin that gave us peace and privacy in a lovely setting. Clive and Kaeren were wonderful hosts as they were so helpful and friendly to ensure that we had an excellent stay. They provided us with lots of useful information about the area that enhanced our stay and were always on hand if we needed them. We fully intend to return and look forward to our next visit.

What a great place to stay. Location fabulous. Clive and Karen are both great, full of information about the area lots of hot tips for visitors. Cleanliness was outstanding. Whilst staying I saw Clive and Karen cleaning the other rental property. Omg I could see for myself how particular they both were at making sure it was spotless. Absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be going back and taking friends.

A lovely garden and cabin with very nice owners welcomed us when we arrived in Gloucesteshire. Our pre-schooler enjoyed communicating with the neighbouring cabin dwellers and I found the cooking facilities fantastic. The high-pressure shower was a treat every morning. The only little downside was that you had to walk to the village or the nearby bakery through the fields (with a 3-year old it was too dangerous on the road ), but only because our little one found it strenuous, otherwise it was a nice adventure to walk among sheep.

Upon arrival to the property we were in awe of how stunning everything was! From the cottages to the cabin, the grounds and the views. It was breathtaking. We were greeted warmly by Clive when we pulled up (unfortunately kaeren was poorly) and was given a lot of information about places nearby where we could get things we needed. The cabin was spotless, well cleaned and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with milk and cake. Once we had settled in we had a walk around the gorgeous garden, the duck pond was the children’s favourite as well as ours. A field full of sheep backed onto the garden and the kids loved making sheep noises to them 😂 In the mornings it was a joy to watch Clive feed the ducks and the boys have been asking for their own ever since. We are so glad to have come across this place when looking for somewhere to go. Thank you so much for having us and we hope to visit again one day :)

I cannot recommend the log cabin enough. The hosts were amazing. Attentive but not intrusive in anyway. They were full of useful hints and tips for adventures we had planned. The shortcut through the fields to the pub was a godsend! The cabin was immaculate, so well provisioned and the grounds were breathtaking. Every turn had something interesting and equally beautiful. From the flowers, the greenery, the duckpond and the little nooks to sit and enjoy it. It is well situated and was easy to access the attractions we had planned. And the local amenities were amazing. Even the shop at the petrol station ensured we had a ripple to enjoy on the patio of an evening. We were recommended a visit to the bakery and the local farm shop but as we had a big day ahead of us we could not keep the bits in the car in this heat. But next time for sure! And absolute treasure, will be certainly go again.

Beautiful property

The cabin was ideal and Clive and Kaeren were excellent hosts, pointing out the best places to eat (The Royal Exchange) and where to obtain provisions locally. They are very Covid aware which was a huge tick but that aside, the garden was stunning and so many ducks! I now think of Clive as the duck whisperer! We'll definitely stay there again when we're down that way.

Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and very helpful starting with their gift of milk and a beautiful chocolate cake. The “cabin “was very clean and comfortable. Clive and Kaeren were always on hand with helpful information concerning local services, food and entertainment. We had a lovely relaxing time and would stay here again at the drop of a hat.

We decided to stay fairly last minute as flights abroad cancelled due to COVID-19, we have family and friends in the area as used to live here. It was a great base to be able to visit people and no problem family coming over to play in the fantastic gardens. Hosts were absolutely lovely and gave us some great tips for a lovely bakery around the corner and park For the kids ! Would definetly stay again !!
