It’s gorgeous , the food at the restaurant is amazing, the laundry service was affordable.
The cleanliness of the room could have been better. Breakfast could have had some hot items.

I absolutely loved my stay at La Torre alle Tolfe and appreciated how kind and knowledgeable all the staff were. I spent five nights here and everything was great - the food was delicious, I loved learning more about the property through the historical tour, olive oil and wine tastings, and animal feeding/regenerative farming tour, and enjoyed meeting many interesting people. I definitely hope to be back again and highly recommend staying here!

+ The property is beautiful! Great views and walking paths. The pool is really nice and it’s great that they have the ability to offer breakfast, lunch and dinner plus other great activities at the property.
+ The wine tour with Virginia was great! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about wine and the La Torre alle Tolfe. This was a highlight of our stay!
+ Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff was great during our stay!
+ Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful, spacious and lovely decor.
+ Close to Siena, only 20min drive.
- Our double bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Both my husband and I left with back and neck pain that we did not have before arriving. The mattress sinks in the middle when you lay on it (we are not heavy people, between 54-60kg). The pillows were very flat. We found extra pillows in the closet which was great but it didn’t help since they were just as flat. As a result we didn’t have a good nights sleep our entire stay. We probably should have mentioned it to them but what would they do? The place seemed quite full. I would advise them to update their pillows and mattresses.
- Dinner service was extremely slow and unorganised. One evening we waited 1hr before receiving our dinner and the food was undercooked. They also mixed up our bill that night and tried to charge us for items we did not order. The waiter doesn’t scan the room to see if people need menus, drinks, to place an order. We constantly had to wave them over to ask for menus, or to place our order— they just weren’t proactive. Many times their heads were down looking at their phone. Dinner is quite expensive there and so we also expected good service, unfortunately that was not the case. Poorly managed.
Borgo La Torre alle Tolfe is such a lovely place but these experiences really dampened our entire experience.
