Lovely pool area. Tennis court also available (which wasn’t advertised). Cocktails were great and the staff were lovely. We loved the wine tasting and learnt lots! Approx 15 minutes into central Siena.
Not enough sun beds for guests by the pool. Our room had an odd smell (I think coming from the kitchen) but it was manageable.

It was a beautiful location outside of Siena. We loved the pasta making class we took with Katy. The meal at the restaurant was delicious and in a beautiful place. The pool was relaxing and so pretty too!

Overall we had a good stay, the facilities and location are excellent. We had the apartment right above the restaurant which was very handy when going for dinner. The pool is excellent, especially in the heat that we encountered. We also enjoyed interacting with Sidney in the Wine Shop - very knowledgeable and friendly on our wine tasting.
Whilst we knew there was no air con - the power went out a few times while we stayed which meant that the fans in the room didn't work - when it was 35+ degrees it was nice to have the fan going. When I questioned the power outages with the staff there was no real accountability for the disruption and inconvenience caused.

Location, beautiful grounds, historic buildings
Extremely loud outdoor music on the Friday night I was there that lasted till 10:30pm. Plus the restaurant plays loud music on top of that till 10pm. If your room is close to common areas there are guests that sit there to all hours making noise. No quiet hours. If you want a quiet, peaceful evening to enjoy this spot it’s very difficult.
