Great location, parking and fabulous host!

Worth visiting
This was probably one of the best places I have stayed during my travels. It was pretty much perceft. The room had a small balcony under the lemon tree, well decorated rooms and a shared terrace up the roof which was perfect for just hanging around, having some coffee or drinks, playing cards or just looking at the (very nice) views to the Mediterranean Sea. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was provided in the cafe near by. Porto Venere may lack bit of Cinque Terre vibes (less dramatic coastline), however this place makes it worth visiting.

Recommend to all. A great place to stay, I wish we could have stayed longer!
Great location, nice and quiet but close to town. The view was amazing. The rooftop was well stocked with things if you want to eat/ have a drink up there. Host Beppe was lovely too, he greeted us at the parking spot and showed us to our room. The free brekky was good too!

A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views and Heartfelt Hospitality!
We had a truly memorable stay at Affittacamere La Tortuga from July 17–20. This charming guesthouse offers a spectacular 180-degree sea view that instantly sets the tone for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The terrace is a dream—equipped with sunbeds, a refreshing outdoor shower, and a shaded lounge area perfect for unwinding with a cold drink or a complimentary coffee. Starting the day here with a cup of tea or coffee while soaking in the view was pure bliss. The host, Beppe, is an absolute treasure. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly service-minded, he has created a space that feels both authentic and personal. He was always available to share local tips, recommend restaurants, and help plan sightseeing adventures. His passion for hospitality truly shines through in every detail. The room, while not overly spacious, was clean, fresh, and had comfortable beds—perfectly suitable for a short stay. The location is also ideal, just a 5–7 minute walk to the center of Portovenere, making it easy to explore the town. One thing to note: breakfast is served at Moon Café, a short walk away. Beppe provides vouchers, but the value doesn’t quite cover the cost of the food and drinks. That said, the breakfast itself is delicious and worth the visit. Overall, La Tortuga is a fantastic place to stay—peaceful, picturesque, and hosted with genuine care. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Portovenere with a personal touch!
The bathroom was quite small , with limited space for personal care items and towels. Be aware of narrow and steep steps. Expensive breakfast at Moon Café

Perfect accommodation, location and host. Would highly recommend.
Great location, nice room, clean. Close to everything including a great little swim spot just across the road. Great terrace where we spent afternoons relaxing. A fabulous host, Beppe , who went out of his way to help us with some problems we had with train tickets. Organised transport for us for when we left . Nothing was too much trouble for him, very welcoming and always helping with luggage up the steps.

Fabulous, loved it great location and beautiful easy access to the beach area for swims.
This was a wonderful place to stay. Our host Beppe was so helpful from the start, very friendly and able to answer our questions regarding the trains and taxi's. Location was fantastic within easy access of many attractions and restaurants. I would definitely recommend Tortuga Portovenere.
