Une très, très grande terrasse avec une vue exceptionnel sur la mer !

Premièrement notre hôte Beppe a été fantastique. Il nous attendait a la propriété pour qu'on puise y garer notre voiture. L'acceuil a été exceptionnel tout comme l'endroit. Nous y avons passé 2 1/2 jours La chambres est conformable et la salle de bain spacieuse pas toujours le cas en Europe. L'emplacement est exceptionnel car on a la vue sur la méditerranée d'une terrasse tout aussi exceptionnelle, juste cette dernière vaut le prix de la chambre. Elle est parfaite pour l'apéro et ne plus il y a un réfrigérateur avec des boissons ( biere, vins, mousseux) Porto Venere est un endroit calme et agréable( plage publique sans $$), plusieurs très bon restaurants On est a la porte d'entrée, la ou tout les bateau débute le voyage vers les cinque terre. Le plus drôle dans notre séjour est qu'on a préféré Porto Venere aux Cinque terre !

Faut juste savoir qu'il y a 69 marches a partir de la rue pour se rendre a la chambre. Nous ca nous dérangeait pas mais pour certain moins en forme ou avec des petits problèmes de mobilité.

Worth visiting

This was probably one of the best places I have stayed during my travels. It was pretty much perceft. The room had a small balcony under the lemon tree, well decorated rooms and a shared terrace up the roof which was perfect for just hanging around, having some coffee or drinks, playing cards or just looking at the (very nice) views to the Mediterranean Sea. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was provided in the cafe near by. Porto Venere may lack bit of Cinque Terre vibes (less dramatic coastline), however this place makes it worth visiting.

Wir waren im September im La Tortuga . Die Zimmer sind super sauber und die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen um die Cinque Terre zu erkunden . Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber : Beppe ! Einen so sympathischen und herzlichen Menschen trifft man wirklich selten . Bei Fragen oder Problemen antwortete er sofort und kümmerte sich um die Gäste . Great location, nice and quiet but close to town. The view was amazing. The rooftop was well stocked with things if you want to eat/ have a drink up there. Host Beppe was lovely too, he greeted us at the parking spot and showed us to our room. The free brekky was good too!

A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views and Heartfelt Hospitality!

We had a truly memorable stay at Affittacamere La Tortuga from July 17–20. This charming guesthouse offers a spectacular 180-degree sea view that instantly sets the tone for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The terrace is a dream—equipped with sunbeds, a refreshing outdoor shower, and a shaded lounge area perfect for unwinding with a cold drink or a complimentary coffee. Starting the day here with a cup of tea or coffee while soaking in the view was pure bliss. The host, Beppe, is an absolute treasure. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly service-minded, he has created a space that feels both authentic and personal. He was always available to share local tips, recommend restaurants, and help plan sightseeing adventures. His passion for hospitality truly shines through in every detail. The room, while not overly spacious, was clean, fresh, and had comfortable beds—perfectly suitable for a short stay. The location is also ideal, just a 5–7 minute walk to the center of Portovenere, making it easy to explore the town. One thing to note: breakfast is served at Moon Café, a short walk away. Beppe provides vouchers, but the value doesn’t quite cover the cost of the food and drinks. That said, the breakfast itself is delicious and worth the visit. Overall, La Tortuga is a fantastic place to stay—peaceful, picturesque, and hosted with genuine care. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Portovenere with a personal touch!

Perfect accommodation, location and host. Would highly recommend.

Great location, nice room, clean. Close to everything including a great little swim spot just across the road. Great terrace where we spent afternoons relaxing. A fabulous host, Beppe , who went out of his way to help us with some problems we had with train tickets. Organised transport for us for when we left . Nothing was too much trouble for him, very welcoming and always helping with luggage up the steps.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Our host Beppe was so helpful from the start, very friendly and able to answer our questions regarding the trains and taxi's. Location was fantastic within easy access of many attractions and restaurants. I would definitely recommend Tortuga Portovenere.

A friendly and beautiful place to stay.

We had such a perfect four days here. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view was amazing. Beppe made us feel extremely welcome and it couldn’t have been more relaxing. Porto Venere is a lovely place to visit with great restaurants and lovely walks. The boat trips to the Cinque Terre and Palmaria island opposite are frequent and only a five minute walk away. We really liked the terrace above the rooms with coffee machine, sun loungers, and fridge/mini bar. We had takeaway pizza up there one night which was a great experience. Breakfast was very nice and with very flexible timings in Moon Bar, which is a nice five minute walk away by the sea. There is free private parking right beside the property.

The property and town were perfect. There is a nice little beach right below, but it is really expensive to hire sun loungers and umbrellas, so we only swam from some steps at the corner of it and didn’t spend any time at the beach.

Lovely accommodation in a great location with helpful host. Very comfortable room, quiet & dark at night, comfortable bed, good aircon and shower. Fab shared balcony with free coffee! We swam off the steps at the bottom of the road, bring water shoes to make entry easier. Plenty of good seafood restaurants nearby. Enjoyable breakfast at Moon - great service and a super location to watch the world go by.

There are about 70 steps from street level to the accommodation - it's the price you pay for that amazing view - but worth knowing if you have mobility issues.

Comfortable and quiet.

Bepe our host was wonderful. He was waiting to greet us on arrival and show us our room. He was around every morning if we needed help with anything. Coffee was also provided on the terrace. A Breakfast coupon was provided (35 euro / person / day) at Blue Moon restaurant. More than enough $ for 3 persons. The room was very quiet. The view from the terrace was lovely. We never made it to the beach, but swimming on the small beach across the street was perfect and not crowded. Beach chairs were available for rent.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B! From the moment we arrived, Beppe was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He went out of his way to help us with parking, which was much appreciated after a long drive. Even more thoughtful, he assisted us with making a dinner reservation at the next place we were heading—such a kind gesture that made our trip even smoother. The room itself was lovely, with a truly fantastic view that we’ll remember for a long time. The location couldn’t have been better—easy parking and just a short walk to the harbor and city center. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Sehr schöner Ort ( Ausgangsort ) um die 5 Dörfer der Cinque Terre zu besuchen .

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht in die Bucht . Die Größe und Ausstattung ( wir hatten das 4 Bett Zimmer) waren vollkommen in Ordnung . Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und hat uns alles bezüglich der Unterkunft erklärt . Ein dickes Plus - für alle 3 Zimmer stand ein eigener Parkplatz zur Verfügung :-) .

Für das Frühstück muss man in ein nahegelegendes Cafe laufen . Der 25€ Gutschein für 2 Personen war für uns nicht ausreichend . Das Doppelbett war für unsere Verhältnisse zu weich .

Posto molto carino e comodissimo al centro di Portovenere e alla spiaggia Bellissima la terrazza con vista panoramica. Beppe ci ha accolti molto gentilmente con dovizia di descrizioni del luogo e delle eventuali nostre necessità. Particolare che a noi è piaciuto moltissimo e che indica la tipologia dell'ambiente, la possibilità di prendere in autonomia bevande o altro in terrazza, segnando ,sempre in autonomia, senza su di un foglio quanto preso...cosa di altri tempi. Consigliato sicuramente. Al prossimo soggiorno in zona, sicuramente torneremo

La Tortuga – eine charmante, kleine Zimmervermietung mit nur drei Zimmern in hervorragender Lage. Die Altstadt ist in etwa fünf Minuten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders beeindruckend ist die traumhafte Dachterrasse mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Bucht – teils überdacht, sodass man hier sowohl bei Sonnenschein als auch bei weniger gutem Wetter entspannt verweilen kann. Die Zimmer sind makellos sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Alle zwei Tage werden die Handtücher gewechselt. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus – eine Seltenheit und großer Vorteil. Frühstück wird im Haus nicht angeboten, stattdessen erhält man einen 25-€-Gutschein für die Moon Bar, die in nur fünf Gehminuten erreichbar ist – für uns absolut problemlos und eine schöne Alternative. Ein besonderer Dank geht an Beppe, den Hotelmanager! Seine Leidenschaft und Freude an der Arbeit sind in jedem Detail spürbar. Er hilft sogar dabei, das Gepäck in die Zimmer zu tragen. Im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten erfüllt er die Wünsche seiner Gäste, ist vormittags fast immer vor Ort oder alternativ per WhatsApp erreichbar – einfach perfekt! Wir haben eine Woche im La Tortuga verbracht und keine Sekunde bereut, hier gebucht zu haben. Jederzeit würden wir wiederkommen!
