Great base for exploring Hohe Venn

It was really nice to go out on the balcony and see all the horses hanging out below in their field! The hosts were really flexible and nice. They even let us keep some cheese we had bought in the fridge after we had checked out, since there were no guests that night after us. They had a guestbook with activity and food recommendations, as well as numerous guidebooks and also some boardgames. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire inside and playing a game together. Very good for motorcyclists, also very good for animal lovers. Would recommend if you have your own vehicle and are wanting to explore the area!

Spacious studio apartment, warm and well equipped perfectly close to Monschau

The studio was spacious, warm and well equipped. The hosts literally thought through every detail carefully. They were so kind to arrange everything for our young traveller and were very accommodating with our arrival times. It was also so wonderful staying on a horse farm! Definitely recommend if you’d like a close and comfortable location to the picturesque town of Monschau!

Great place to stay as a base to explore the Eifel!

It was a great stay. The hosts are very friendly, the apartment has a good size and the sunny terrace with the BBQ are brilliant. We saw a foal that was not even a day old and spent some time with the friendly horses.

The proximity to the horses and the manure is something to be aware of. There are many flies that can be annoying at times.

Mooie plek in een mooie omgeving waar je er heerlijk op uit kunt gaan of lekker thuis blijven!

Alles was aanwezig, er was thee, wijn, koffie, tandenborstels en tandpasta (voor als we dat vergeten zouden zijn, enz.

We hebben geen eigenaar/esse gezien, dat was het enige wat jammer was.

Es war ein großer Wohnraum, die Ausstattung war gut. Die Betten waren sehr gut.

Die Couch ging sofort kaputt, nachdem mein Mann sich nach dem ausklappen rauflegen wollte. Die Terrasse war (wofür keiner was kann) schlecht zu nutzen, da Bienen sich dort eingenistet hatten. Leider waren dann auch Bienen im Wohnraum, da konnte man die Fenster nicht auflassen. Das Bad hat sehr unangenehm gerochen.

Schöne Ferienwohnung am Ortsrand von Mützenich

Schöne Aussicht auf der Dachterrasse. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man in einer Ferienwohnung braucht. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die ruhige Lage am Ortsrand heisst leider auch, dass es weite Wege zum Einkauf gibt und vieles ohne Fahrrad oder Auto schwer zu erreichen ist.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht

Von der Lage her hat uns die Nähe zu den Wanderwegen im hohen Venn gefallen. Die Wohnung selbst ist grundsätzlich schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Matratzen sind nicht durchgelegen, aber für unseren Geschmack zu hart. Außerdem hat uns gefallen, dass Hunde willkommen sind & man eine kleine Grundausstattung für den Vierbeiner in der Wohnung vorfindet. Ein kostenfreier Parkplatz ist direkt am Haus.

Wir haben Ruhe gesucht, um dem Alltag in der Stadt zu entfliehen & in der Natur etwas runter zu kommen. Das war leider nicht möglich, da an dem Wochenende ein Pferderennen mit Showprogramm bei dem Reitverein hinter dem Haus veranstaltet wurde. Dies wurde im Vorfeld von den Gastgebern, die selbst dran teilgenommen haben, nicht kommuniziert. Ein Hinweis darauf kam erst am Abend der Anreise. Die Terrasse der Wohnung ist zwar schön groß und lädt zum verweilen ein - hier hörte man jedoch ein dauerhaftes knacken der elektrischen Pferdezäune & zusätzlich jeden Tag laute Musik vom Reitverein. Zudem war die Wohnung selbst sehr hellhörig - sodass man den Lärm der befahrenen Hauptstraße und der Gäste in der anderen FeWo hörte. Zudem fehlte es unserer Meinung nach an Wartung und der Zustand entsprach nicht den Fotos auf Booking. Die Wasserhähne und der Wasserkocher waren verkalkt, der Abfluss vom Waschbecken im Bad verstopft, sodass das Wasser kaum ablief. Das Bad hat kein Fenster zum öffnen, dafür einen sehr dreckigen Lüfter und einen Duschvorhang, der unten angelaufen ist. Das Rollo an der Terassentür war defekt, das angebrachte Fliegennetz sehr heruntergekommen und hielt nicht mehr richtig fest. Die Tapete wird teilweise mit Heftzwecken gehalten, Staub & Spinnweben hängen von der Decke. Wir empfanden es in der Wohnung entsprechend nur bedingt sauber. Für den hohen Preis hatten wir mehr erwartet.
