Stressful booking as my messages were not replied to and the check in process was very complicated

Great value and location and we would stay again

Location was excellent. Easy to get access and clean accommodation.

The property was nice and clean with lovely toiletries and a reasonable rate and a good location. Lola who met us at the property was very nice.

The property owners requested a photo ID and proof of address for all 5 of the party of which I need to contact them to ensure they delete the details. There wasn’t really a satisfactory answer as to why they needed it other than incase there were issues with payment. I could understand mine as the one who made the reservation but not all of the party as if they had any payment issues, no one else in the party would have have been responsible. We were a split party who although aimed to arrive at the same time could have been delayed yet we all had to arrive at the same time to give our details so Lola could take a photo as evidence. There was 1 key for the party of 5 with a hefty cost if it was lost. I think £300. I appreciate the cost of technology but still a bit of a responsibility. 10 am is a little early to leave the apartment given there was 5 of with 1 bathroom and we had to ensure that the cutlery & crockery was washed and back in the cupboards. I would have thought during COVID the responsibility would have been to ensure they’ve been cleaned properly for the next customer. We also had to strip the beds as the house rule was to put all used linen in the basket, take the rubbish out. To be honest, it just didn’t feel a relaxed experience even though there apartment itself was nice.

Lots of little issues

The woman that greeted us was very helpful. The location is great.

The pull out bed cannot sleep 2 as is claimed. The fridge door was broken so didn’t always close properly. The tv was broken. The wardrobe was broken. Parts of the kitchen cupboard were falling off. You couldn’t run a bath as the plug was broken and it was the same with the sink in the bathroom. I had to repair one of the beds myself before we could sleep on it and then the mattress was smaller than the bed. The floor in the kitchen needs repairing. The dining table is close to useless. The extractor fan in the bathroom made such a noise it was easier to shower in the dark and the extractor fan over the hobs didn’t work at all. You also couldn’t close the living room door if you were in it as the handle would come off and you would be stuck in there until someone let you out.

Weekend away

Very friendly, polite staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. The flat had everything you could need, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc with tablets, washing up liquid, even tea bags provided. They had thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. Secure complimentary parking another plus point. Central location
