Botel Elodie

Botel Elodie is a fantastic accommodation option for visiting Amsterdam if you want something a little bit different and a true Amsterdam waterway experience. The owner of the boat (Chango) is a fantastically friendly host that is great to chat to and very helpful with any information you may need. The cabins are compact (as you would expect on a barge!) but cosy and the en-suites have great showers. Beds are also comfy. The location is excellent, a short walk from the main tourist area and Centraal station and close to the Nemo Science museum.

It would be great to have breakfast as an option but its understandable that it isn't and we were happy to go out and get this anyway.

Nestled in a quiet and peaceful location, the Botel offers a perfect blend of tranquillity and convenience. Just minutes away from the vibrant downtown, it's a great base for exploring the city but having sufficient quietness. The cabin is small but immaculately clean and the owner Chango, a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman, is a true local expert.

Chango is a great host! Location is perfect as it is quiet but centrally located. Beds are comfortable.

The Boatel Elodie was a fun Amsterdam experience. The en-suite bathroom was such a bonus, most boats we looked at did not have this feature. Very pleased with the location as well, just a short walk from the Central Station. Our host, Chango was extremely kind and helpful.
