Botel Elodie

The Boatel Elodie was a fun Amsterdam experience. The en-suite bathroom was such a bonus, most boats we looked at did not have this feature. Very pleased with the location as well, just a short walk from the Central Station. Our host, Chango was extremely kind and helpful.

You come as a tourist and leave like a friend. Mr. Chango is an excellent host. Everything was clean and functional.

Chango is the best. Made our stay that much more special.

Cozy rooms

I loved the unique experience of staying on a barge, which was different and memorable for a Mum & adult daughter city break. The location was excellent: peaceful yet just a 10-minute walk to Central Station to access all the main attractions of Amsterdam. The host, Chango, was incredibly friendly & helpful. The cabin, while compact (as expected), had comfy bunks, air-conditioning, power connection for multiple plugs, a decent shower & all essentials like towels and soap. I also appreciated the option to buy tea, coffee or beer on board & being able to easily refill our water bottles. It felt very safe. Highly recommend.

There wasn’t anything I didn't like, but it’s helpful to know that breakfast isn’t included or available on board. Also, for anyone with long hair, I’d recommend bringing your own shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, and a hairdryer, as these aren’t provided.
