Perfect for our requirements/work and would definitely recommend go back for leisure with family

Only wee thing my colleague mentioned was the 2nd bedroom was probably ideal for kids as he kept bumping his head on the upper bunk. Another double/small double would be ideal.

Family Break

Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. Upstairs is a fantastic play room and separate kids bedroom. Location is great and you can wall to lots or local amenities. There was a welcome pack of food on our arrival which was a very nice and appreciated surprise. The owner, Wendy, popped over the following day to check we had settled in, which was lovely.

Nothing, just wish we were staying longer. We will definitely be back

Fantastic house, good location

Have stayed in numerous self-catering cottages but this one is by far the best one. Comfortable, warm, parking space, very generous welcome pack and good lighting, which is important if you go in the winter months and perhaps spend more time actually inside the cottage than you would do in the summer. Lovely garden too which must be great in the summer.

Quirky and Fun

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Driftwood Cottage. Within just a short while it was obvious on how experienced Wendy is at letting out properties and providing for the needs of any visitor. Having spoken to her before I left I found that part of that is that she stays at her properties to see first hand what is needed. There was so much provided here, right down to the little things. Despite being in a town it was very quiet, comfortable and covid safe. The cottage was quirky, fun and homely. I spent every day out but I knew that there was plenty I could do if I had to stay in. The upstairs area for children and the shed at the bottom of the garden looked lovely. I'd recommend this to anyone from a single person to a family with young children. If this is the standard of Wendy's properties I'd stay at any of them. One of them is already in my thoughts for a future visit to Scotland.

Cosy winter retreat

A lovely snug character cottage, just a stone's throw from the 17th Century harbour, has all the modern comforts you could hope for. So many thoughtful touches - Easy entry with a key case, welcome grocery pack, efficient central heating, comfortable memory foam mattress, spotlessly clean, spacious bathroom, powerful controlable shower, fresh flowers, fully equipped kitchen, summer house with a view, space to store our bikes and even a personal, but safely physically distanced, face-to-face greeting from our host. I cannot rate this accommodation and host too highly.

Bit too warm at night!!!!! But then it was unusually mild for November and our home is on the northeast coast of Scotland where we normally set our central heating low, sleep with an open window and a low tog duvet! So personal taste I guess.
