This was a repeat visit to Emahroo so convenient for everything in Cullen.

It has everything we need comfortable beds close to shops ice cream shop fish & chip shop Indian & Chinese take outs. The beach in just down the road.

Everything! Warm and immaculately clean flat, comfy beds, dogs welcome, log burner, close to gorgeous beach, excellent places to eat on doorstep, and a friendly host. We're booked to come back in December already!

Lovely Property in Beautiful Cullen

Excellent location, very well maintained, comfy beds,spotlessly clean. A real home from home. You can even check the size of the queue of the ice cream shop across the street 😉🍦Top tip - take the torch hanging in the hallway with you if you plan on coming home late at night. We couldn't work out why there was a torch until we came home late! Overall a lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay again

Shared gate to the garden entrance could do with a little tlc - catches on the concrete. Could be wrong, but seems to be a shared wheelie bin which if you have a large family staying in the property below doesn't leave much space for your own rubbish. Road noise can be a little loud but only to be expected as the property is on the main road. Don't let any of these minor things put you off though, I would definitely stay at Emahroo again

We love everything about Emahroo! Great host, fabulous flat with everything you could possibly need, in a central location and only five minutes from the beach. Counting down the days until we come back.

Enjoyed exploring the area

Property was clean and fresh. Good proximity to shops, local walks and beach. Parking next to property.

Property was cold in mornings and you are unable to override heating. It is unreasonable to expect guests to light wood burner for a short period of time. Bathroom was freezing this morning (June) Scottish weather is so unpredictable you really need a wee boost of heat sometimes. One evening was really warm and we had trouble opening the livingroom window it was so stiff. I have lived in an older property with sash windows and I would say this is due to neglect. The property sits adjacent to the main road through Cullen which can be noisy during the evening and very early morning. May not be the property for you if you are a light sleeper.

Lovely trip to Cullen

central location, great for all of the walks around Cullen. Well equipped, really comfortable beds (I'm definitely going to look into wool quilt for our bed at home). A shared green for the dog to have an investigation around 🐶

Hubby's a light sleeper so we slept in the back bedroom, single beds were very comfortable though. Could maybe do with more ambient lighting in the living area.

Cullen is our happy place, going back to Emahroo makes it doubly HAPPY.

Emahroo, it always clean comfortable, very well equipped, the beds are so comfortable the best we’ve slept on. The property is central to Cullen. Know there is a very cosy wood burner, just incase it turns chilly. Always dog friendly, having Stanley & Radley over to visit our girls makes Emahroo very special.

Lovely spot in Cullen

Loved the location of Emharoo - slap bang in the centre of Cullen. The rooms were spacious & the beds (& pillows!) were really, really comfortable. Lovely little kitchen for preparing / cooking food too. Lovely little enclosed, shared, garden too, which is lovely to have.

I think the property would benefit from having a couple of dining chairs (even just fold up chairs), as it was difficult to get everyone around the small dining table with just the bench & window seat. Disliked the fact that the heating was set to a max of 18° during the day & 20° in the evening. I understand why hosts would want to set a max temperature, however in my opinion, the max temperatures set are too low, especially for this time of year (Feb, when it's quite chilly in the north east of Scotland). We spent most of one of our days in the apartment & we were cold.

Lovely house, well equiped, good location. Host very helpful. Good value for money. Our 2nd stay here and would come again.

House is quite cold although host did turn up the heating when asked. Would be good to control the temperature yourself. Duvets a bit thin for winter. Road quite noisy early in the morning.

Great flat in the Town, five minutes from the great beach.

Very clean and spacious flat, great location in the town. Very dog friendly with bowls, leads and even a ball thrower. We loved our stay here and will definitely return.

It was a pleasant stay.

Location, comfy beds & sofa, the cleanliness of the property. Supplying towels.

It was difficult to open and close the windows. The shower could do with replacing or upgrading, we had to press the on button a few times before it worked. The shower head was a bit loose and leaking slightly. The toilet had a small leak around the bottom front base after flushing. The bottom tray of dishwasher not able to pull out smoothly. Could do with additional mugs or cups.

Superb

The flat was immaculate and had a lovely garden at the back. Very central to everything.. Kisten was very helpful when we needed code for Wi-fi. Parking was great right next to the flat and we were lucky to always get a space .Loved our holiday at Emahroo.

Traffic at front could be noisy at times but its where Emahroo sits so that can't be changed and you do get used to it. It wouldnt put us off going back again.

This is a second time visit for me and first for my sister and friends, it's like home from home, everything close at hand as it's on the main street, the beach is 5min walk from flat, bus service takes you to Elgin, Aberdeen if you don't want to use the car,i love this place and will definitely come back, recommend it also pet friendly

We love the apartment and even with the above we would definitely stay there again.

The smoke escaping from the Fireplace Surround when you use the Fire was alarming. We immediately contacted the Host. She confirmed that she knew about it and has professionals look at the Fire. She is having a Wood Burner installed. The Host should perhaps advise guests NOT to use the Fire till it is safe and replaced. The Front Door Yale Lock was very loose, we also reported that. It is being addressed.

Great little apartment in Cullen.

Very clean apartment with fresh, modern decor. Old building with character. Nice touches, e.g. milk and biscuits, warm blankets, basket of logs. Good value for money. Felt like the owner cares about their clients.

Tripped on the stone steps as they're not evenly spaced and it was dark on our arrival.
