Very last minute booking But Eldon was great and gave me lots of useful information even if I did forget it from the time of leaving my house to arriving. Totally on me and can't fault him. I admire his patience 🤣

Location was perfect, short walk into the town, host was very helpful, room was lovely with amazing view.

Great proximity for the C2C bike ride. Very well run with great communication and service from the staff. Breakfast was very tasty and good quality too.

Central ish to Keswick.
Parking was an issue not a lot there. And the owner seemed a bit rude when accessing the door and keys as he said originally he would meet us at the door but I kept losing signal ringing him even though he lives next door. They didn’t clean the room the next morning or make the beds just supplied a toilet roll. The breakfast was not to my liking very dated and the bread was nasty like old stale bread not what you expect on holiday.
