Great B&B would recommend

The room was clean and very nice with a lovely view of the mountainside. Sharron the host was lovely. The breakfast was excellent. The location is lovely and quiet. An ideal spot from which you can explore the local area.

The shower was a bit small for me, although I am not and the tv was a bit dated.

Amazing breakfast friendly host, clean room

Amazing location just outside Keswick easy walk into town. Room was perfect and clean for our 2 nights stay. Sharon was just the loveliest of hosts, such an amazing breakfast was prepared each morning with so many choices all homemade too, kept us fuelled for our busy hikes.

Only problem was the on street parking on the street across but understandably the best location for the accommodation.

Everything! It was clean, comfortable and well-organised. Sharon ( the host) was so lovely and helpful. She recommended lots of great walks, places to see and eat at. She also advised on short cuts into the town of Keswick from Burnside so you could walk in rurally. The room was comfortable with little extra touches like extra radiators to dry wet clothes and a little mint each day to Dave with our coffee. The breakfast was great too with good choices and we would probably return purely for her home-made marmalade! ( other home made jams also available).

There is nothing that I didn’t like about this property.

Our host Sharon, was very friendly, helpful, organised and attentive.

Our room on the front of the property was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable but suffered slightly from road traffic noise.

Quaint - just as we were hoping for our stay in the Lakes Region. Welcoming check in, 3rd floor unit but that was fine! Plenty of room with an oh so comfortable bed! And the breakfast….fabulous!

Parking would have been nice, but there was ample street parking right across from the B&B

the room was lovely with a view of the hillside... Breakfast that Sharon made was wonderful. I have lived in France for 13 yrs and am used to good coffee..wasnt that fond of the coffee for breakfast. the flavour was not so nice. Sharon makes a lovely breakfast... !

I will ask for help next visit on getting the TV to work with the remote. Also, 99% of places I have stayed have 11 am a earliest checkoutl I find 10 am not a good option. I am well traveled withing the UK and EU. I would say that 85% have a 12 noon check out.. The other 15% 11am. I run an air b & b in France. 12noon is our check out time. If we are not busy, we welcome the guests even to stay a bit longer to accomodate them. 10 AM is not common in my travels.

Lovely B&B great host and wonderful breakfast

Lovely b&b we chose a larger room with sofa everything was as it should be comfortable bed plenty of room. Sharon was a lovely host serving up the most delicious breakfast 12/10 😊. Sharon advised us on walking routes one being straight out of her front door to the stone circle and wella crag and beyond . Thankyou 😊

Great stay and host

The owner, Sharon was a lovely bubbly host who was knowelagble about the area, and nothing was too much for her, and loved chatting to her guests The room was beautiful, clean and well decorated,(as was the dining room) and the bed was so comfortable giving a great night's sleep A lovely breakfast especially the mushrooms, which were cooked to perfection

The only negative, was a small shower as in not a lot of room to get in and out of.

A pleasant stay in the lakes with accommodating hosts and excellent food.

Location was good; a short walk into Keswick and nice views of the hills. Accommodation was clean and tidy. The drying rack was a thoughtful addition for wet hiking clothes. Breakfast was excellent!

While clean and functional, the bathroom could be described as compact. OK for us, but I can imagine larger people having some issues.

Lovely B&B and host, and bed was very comfortable.

Lovely host, the food was amazing, the room was clean, the only downside was room smaller than we expected the bed took up most of the room and we kept walking into end of be and no wardrobe, they did provide hangers, also I ticked for parking, but didn't realize it was not onsight parking but Sharon was lovely and we felt very welcome and looked after.

You received a lovely warm welcome from Sharon on your arrival and she couldn't have been more helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the full English cooked breakfast was very tasty and nothing was too much trouble. We would thoroughly recommend and we would definitely stay again if we were visitng Keswick.

The hosts were lovely, warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were perfect, and the location is great for both the town of Keswick, and for travelling further afield.

The room (no. 3 cosy) certainly was cosy, so the description is accurate, but I did repeatedly bang my leg on the edge of the bed. It wasn't a major problem and it didn't impact our stay here, but it's worth mentioning for future guests to be aware of. The other minor negative was the shower. It did it's job, but again was a little cramped, and the flow was slower than I'm used to. These are both very minor points. We would definitely stay again, but would try to secure a larger room if possible!

Very little that could be done better. Our room was quite small, but adequate for our short stay, and we did book it quite late for a busy half-term week, so that was down to us rather than the B&B itself.

Fantastic B&B

Sharon was very welcoming and very helpful with local knowledge. Room was lovely and spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable we had a fantastic sleep. Breakfast was exceptional especially Sharon's homemade vegan sausage. Catered very well for vegan / vegetarians. The full English was also cooked to perfection using local produce. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again ☺️
